Beekman Country Club - Highland/Valley

I had last played Beekman a few years ago and was hesitant to try again.

I was pleasantly surprised and am on my way to play again this coming weekend.

The greens are in great condition. Played the Taconic and Higgland courses.

Is the great course to play highly recommended 27 holes all in great shape staff very friendly anytime you can get it for under $50 book it

Course conditions were amazing Greens roll very true. Members need to treat all guests as potential members. Layout could be a little harder

AS soon as I saw this Hot Deal I could not resist booking ASAP. Glad that I did. Couple friends also joined us and we four had a perfect golf day.

Never too busy with three nines - I play there

weekly or sometimes twice a week. During the summer months the greens are fast and the fairways are in excellent condition -- not chopped up with divots everywhere.

have played this course at least twice each year and will always keep coming back. 3 nine hole layouts that they switch up which is great. the staff are always friendly and helpful and course is easy to get to. highly recommend. Also great pace of play.

Beekman has been my 'home' course for several years. The 27 holes is key, the price is ok. The new owners are listening and really trying. The rough is toooooo high and needs some trimming. Love that there are now canisters w sand on carts to fix divots. Maybe a sprinkle of seed would help further. Womens tee boxes are often insulting with how close the markers are set up (we regularly have to adjust them) - a small complaint but consistently whoever sets them up doesn't give a hoot.

The staff is lovely and normally we get right out. The restaurant waitresses are beyond nice and Kim is essential to how clean and presentable the place looks. The biggest negative about Beekman is the restaurant food. It is just bland, blah food. Not, worth the money. We keep trying to support the restaurant but it is hard with tasteless tuna, watery egg salad, dry burgers, disappointing specials that we spend to much money on. The chef seems nice and appears to be trying but is so not hitting the mark. Many of our co players won't even sit and eat because it is not worth it. Food is so good at other courses - even Baird has tasty food. Please know we love Beekman overall, but beg for an entirely new menu.

Nice course but poorly managed. Conveniently located near the Taconic Parkway, it's easy to get there and find.

Very nice golf course with great layout and excellent staff

I've been playing at Beekman for quite a few years. It has new owners and they are doing their best to bring this course up from the last owners. The fairways are pretty sparse in lots of places and the tee boxes really need to be redone. Hopefully they will consider over seeding the fairways so next season we will be playing on nice fluffy grass rather than hard pack.

The kitchen needs an upgrade from the boring menu that never changes.

The course was in good shape and the pace of play wasn't bad. The only complaint I have is that the rough could be cut a bit lower. It was very difficult to find your ball if you didn't hit the fairway. Shorter rough would definitely improve the pace of play.

Been playing Beekman since a friend discovered it. Just a top rate experience, they get you out, get you out fast, and of course if you want to call to get a time, you can do that easily as well. Just a bunch of people that all seem as if they own the course and are multi billionaires, caring more about you than anyone else.

Have played this course for many years a few times a season and we were surprised to find the greens in terrible condition. With the 3 9 hole layout the starter assured us our selected 9 for the back and made a note of it. Play was slow and we waited on most shots with no rangers in sight. When we made the turn another starter was on duty and when we told him which 9 we were expecting to play he said "no" was hostile and annoyed with us offering no alternatives or apologies. He finally indicated a league would be going out at 4 and reluctantly agreed to let us out on an alternate 9. Bad vibe all around. Final disappointment was a bad new layout on the 9 holes to accommodate a larger driving range. With better courses to play in the area we won't be back to Beekman.
