About
Beekman Country Club has a stunning location nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires, just as they are rising from the Hudson Valley. The 27-hole hole golf course is divided into three nines that are combined to create three scenic and challenging 18-hole courses. The Highland/Valley combination begins at the clubhouse and gradually climbs over 500 feet. The front nine offers panoramic views stretching from the valley to Stormville Mountain. The Highland nine features the signature hole, the par-3 fourth, of the entire course. It is most beautiful in the springtime when the dogwood trees lining the fairways are in bloom. Although the elevation changes are not as dramatic, the Valley nine is not to be forgotten with one of the country's largest oak trees guarding the sixth hole.

Glad to get out to play...course was extremely wet greens were very bumpy but was lucky enough to be out playing. Course is usually in great shape will definitely play again!

blustery, cold day but course was in great shape; pace of play was somewhat slow but to be expected for a public course. greens were in excellent shape and quick. some of the tee boxes need to be reshaped as they are unbalanced and bumpy. also, tee boxed should be configured into helping the average golfer hit the ball more in the fairways. but all in all, it was a great day to play and love playing the course.
windy,cool...then warmer and beautiful
Greens good yet a bit high (not complaining). Some holes (3 of 18) had alot of leaves. Overall good conditions and the price was great.

It was a great day to play golf. Course was in good shape for this time of year and the price was even better. Will definitely play there again.

Cold windy excellent day
Great course in great shape. It had rained all night before and it was windy and cold but course still in good shape and had a great time quick paced w/o any pressure.

Very disappointed
Played taconic first. Couldn't tell fairway from rough. Not cut and very poor shape bare spots uncut fairways and bumpy slow greens.
Had foursome In front of my twosome. Holes open ahead but they made believe we weren't waiting often.
Course always looks beautiful from the road but not this day!

You cannot do much wrong, playing this scenic course whih is somewhat challenging, but always fair.

Aeration
The greens, and some fairways were aerated. The hot weather and monsoon rains have wrecked havoc on the course. Hopefully, it will be back in shape soon.

Aeration Alert
I booked a tee time on GolfNow but only paid their fees and the balance would be paid at the course. I finished the first hole only to notice that the green was aerated, so I called the pro shop toes if all the greens were aerated and they said yes. No signage was posted nor did anyone tell us that this was being done. If you are thinking about playing Beekman now, don't waste your money. I don't have a problem with them maintaining the course, I have a problem with them not telling or posting course conditions before they take my money. I called GolfNow after the first hole and they refunded their fee.

Despite the 93 degree weather, course was in excellent condition with greens running slightly slow but true.

Nice course some interesting holes.
If the pace of play was better it would have been a great day. Unfortunately 5 hours is way too long. Nice layout just need some rangers.
Very Nice Facillity and Course
Three Nines to choose from and a nice course. The course is in excellent condition with moderate speed greens that are in top condition.
Better then the average public course
I'll get right to the point...level well maintained teeboxes, nice low-cut fairways, lush deep rough no real hardpan at least that I was in, and true semi-fast greens.
Starters
Hey starts don't me so miserable the gentleman who starts us was nice but the guy who was there at the turn acted like he didn't want to be there hey pal if you don't like your job quit life is to short
Decent Simple Course- AWFUL Starter
Just got back from my first round at Beekman. The course was nice enough. However, the starter decided to go off on our group of 3 at the first tee for no apparent reason. I've never had a problem at a golf course before this experience at Beekman. We had an early afternoon tee time, a group ahead of us, and before we even got off the first tee the starter literally cursed us out, told us we were holding up "the whole f-ing course" (mind you, nobody had come up behind us yet) and that this was "no f-ing place to practice." We played at the same pace as everyone else the whole day, but we were constantly feeling rushed because of how rude the starter was. I will never go back.
That's pretty stunning behavior. The guy should have been reported ro management.
Great round!
Played in less than 3 hours. Course was in very good condition considering the time of year. Great price for a Sunday.
