Pine Hills Country Club
About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Good for the money
Keeping very Good condition for end of August.
I was wander if it was Apr, must be very good condition .
I played 7000 yard, but it didn't take long( 4 hours).
After finishing play golf take some time to puttering and chipping at the club house .
I will be back!!
The good course as long as you can get the savings through through GolfNow otherwise too much money on a normal day
Course is in great shape
There is really nothing the course could do but a round of golf should not be 5 1/2 hours. We finally got by a particularly bad group and played in but that was not until the 14th hole. The staff is great and the course and club house are very nice. I just think they should add rangers on the course.
Great course
Great course, tricky greens. A lot of hazards. Would play again. Short on the length but the greens and bunkers made it challenging.
Always satisfied
It's somewhat far from my house, but I like to play here, because of the fairly well maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff. And never disappointed, always satisfied. Viva Pine Hills GC!!
Great Condition
The course was in great condition and the pace of play was fantastic. Would play again in a heartbeat ! Thanks Pine Hills !
Great course at the right time
Awesome course when you play at the right time. If you beat the crowd out in the AM or later in the day then the pace of play is great. Can be frustrating to wait behind a jammed up course. Greens are in solid shape.
Nice course
Nice layout. Good value. Desperately needs a ranger to improve pace of play
Great Place to play
Aside from the rude guy in the pro shop, the course is great.
Nice Fairways and a wide open course
I played at Pine Hills late in the day. I found the fairway wide and in very good condition with few divots.
The greens were in good condition and rolled well. There were few divots.
There are a few really pretty approach shots due to the hilly terrain.
I really can not make a complaint due to acing the 14th into the wind 165 yards.
Pine Hills CC
Great course! The course isn't difficult. They changed the evaluation of the tee boxes on the whites. Makes it easier. The blues are the same tee box evaultion. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The greens were rolling true! A little slow for my liking. Will be back. Alot of straight putts and. No breaks.
Course was in good condition except for greens. They were just sanded. Was slow in places and bumpy. Should have been notified of work done on greens.
Great Condition and relaxing
I played this course early on a Saturday morning. First, I love the complimentary range balls. The starter was friendly and kept everything moving. This has always been a nice course but the spring weather has really been good for conditions. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Only compliant is there is a good bit of variation in green speeds. I think a couple of weeks of cutting and rolling will fix that. The course is fair and you are able to find your ball on an errant shot but their is a penalty to be had and you lose a stroke or two but it is not like some of the courses I the area where the ball is just gone with no recovery possible. Because of this I think it is fun for all skill levels. I really enjoyed th round.
