Pine Hills Country Club
About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Reviews
Very nice
Good enough everything ! Nice fair way. Thanks at all.
course was in great shape
course is challenging a little narrow in some spots but definitely in great shape
PINE HILLS
COURSE WAS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. PACE OF PLAY WAS SLOWED DOWN BY THE LEAVES IN THE ROUGH. IT WAS TOUGH FINDING OUR BALLS THAT WENT OFF THE FAIRWAY. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, COURSE WAS GREAT .
Nice course, played, but nice
I had a good time with 3 other guys I paired up with, all could play a bit. Pace of play was superb. Course is played a bit, so I have to say it was in pretty good condition all things considered. They've already done their aeration and dressing , where the course is coming along nicely. She can be challenging if you don't know where to club down off the tee. A few blind shots. Nothing crazy. Greens were moving at a good pace, so care needs to be taken with short game and putting. In all a good time in mid-October. Brisk conditions, a little overcast, and we had some fun. Overall, an enjoyable round.
pine hills well worth the cost
I got a great deal from Golfnow and the course was great in very good shape
Great Course
This was my first time playing there and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely play there again. The course was in very good condition.
Nice course!
Fairways in great condition, greens fast, and lots of trees, so hit your balls straight!
Long play
We have played this course before and never had a problem but on this day the staff was not doing their job well. It took us 6 hours to play 18 holes. There were 2 and 3 foursomes waiting at every hole. When we told staff they stated there was one slow group that backed everyone up. I thought the staff should have told them to move along or let others play through....there was no staff anyone.
Very enjoyable
Had played this course in an MGA tournament a couple of years ago and didn't remember much since we were involved in a competition. Came back to play an afternoon round with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Good condition and some very pretty holes. Loved Jc's restaurant as well. Great for a beer and food after the round. Everyone in the pro shop and restaurant were very friendly.
JPM51
Great course in excellent condition, staff very friendly great value for your money. After golf restaurant good place to have a nice lunch. Have played here before and will play again.
Course feels like a country club
Very impressed. Excellent condition. Plenty of length but fair. Definitely will play again.
Very nice, yet challenging course!
Played with 2 off my friends.
Had a great pace, time and challenge...
Nice track to see reality...
Overall good
Several white tees too far back making overly long par 4's.
Loved the course
Pine Hills was in great shape. The staff were great. Very enjoyable round.
great course worth every penny
course was great shape. Went out with my brother from out of town as a twosome even with a foursome in front still finished 18 in 4 hours no real wait at any hole. well worth the money. only issue when try to find with gps ended up in a middle school parking lot
Pine hills
Staff was not so friendly ... Big turn off from the start but once out there the course was in good shape . Tee boxes and greens pretty decent. Fairways great shape . Challenging greens and pin placements . Plays long too and narrow ! Must keep the ball down the middle here . I'd give it a second chance
Overbooked
This was the worst day of golf .it took 4 1/2 hrs to play 14 holes.started at 3:30 had to finish at 8,when it got dark.they had to many people booked.20 wait on every hole.
way too slow
Was looking forward to playing here for three weeks
It has a great bar and the food is good
but the round was so slow
there was no starter on duty and no ranger
we waited at every hole
thought the front 9 was bad till we got to the back
left on the 15th could not take any more
