Pine Hills Country Club
About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Pine hills
Greens were nice but there was a temporary on the front nine.
Nice course to play
The course was in very good condition considering the winter we had. Will play it again.
Early Season, but ahead of schedule!
Course was in better than expected condition - staff was Top Notch!!
THIS COURSE HAS EXCELLENT VIEWS
PLAYED THERE ON A CLOUDY FOGGY DAY, AND THE COURSE WAS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. WOULD DEFINATELY WOULD PLAY THERE AGAIN, AND RECOMMEND GOLFERS TO PLAY THERE.
This course has good & nice features.
We enjoyed weekend with my friends. The price was super.
Range
Nice practice facility. Unlimited range balls when we played on Sunday with chipping area and large putting green.
Nice pro shop.
nice value..... worth the trip
great practice area chipping, putting and driving range nice layout mix length and shorter shotmaker holes great 19th hole!!!
course is in great shape.
Course was excellent except for the one temporary green on the front 9.
Good price through golfnow
Staff in clubhouse are unfriendly and seem bothered
Course greens are nice. Rough is shotty with dirt spots as well as bare spots.
Tee boxes are not trimmed enough.
Course layout is fun with a straight forward front and challenge on back.
False green on good par 4 that has been there for going on two years. Needs real green.
Price is fair through golfnow. At course fees are terrible.
Good practice facility.
Play here a lot
Nice course layout. I usually lay on Mondays and the course tends to be set up long and with difficult pin placements on that day. Good variety of hole lengths requiring all clubs in bag.
Greens are usually in good shape and fairways are maintained.
Long but forgiving, good variety of holes
Always enjoy playing this course. It is long and has a good mixture of different types of holes. Good break on the rate for early morning play.
Nice greens
A challanging course with some memorable holes. A couple of greens are fronted by ponds making them scenic and more challanging. Placement off the tee is important to score well. Good planning is rewarded. Great price for a weekend afternoon.
course in great shape
grounds crew gets a pat on the back. play about 4 hr..the kind of place i ame looking for.
