Winter Golf
Swan Lake has been in great shape this whole winter. I have been able to play on a weekly basis though out. The staff are excellent and highly recommend finishing your round with a burger and a beer.

Winter golf
The course is in great shape for February. The greens rolled very nice and after about 5 or 6 holes were receptive. It was like 35 degrees when I teed off so I didn’t expect much to hold the green.

Let's start with the price. $60 for a round in the middle of January is ridiculous. The cups hadn't been moved in a few days and were swollen. Impossible to putt. For some reason they decided to switch the front and back 9. The first hole used to be great because it was a double fairway that allowed people of all skill levels to hit driver and get some early confidence. It was a five hour round, so it certainly didn't help pace of play. You used to have to drive past the BBQ grill to get to 10th tee. Now you don't have to. It's going to cost them thousands of dollars in concessions. Good move guys!
Wet
Coarse front 9 play was good back 9 50 % of holes extremely wet had a player in front of us driving cart on fairways and causing damage. This guy should not be playing golf. For management at Swan my tee time was for 11:04 .

First day of winter
Couldn’t ask for a nicer day with temps into the 50s and mild winds. The course was in great shape.
Be prepared to deal with the frozen ground both good and bad. Got good carry across the frozen pond. I recommend you carry a screwdriver to break through the frozen ground

Weather
It was cold and windy and as a result very challenging
The course was in excellent shape and despite the wind and temperature we did enjoy ourselves

Great course
One of my absolute favorite places to play course is always in good condition nice clubhouse restaurant is as nice as the course feels like you’re on vacation when you come to play here

Pace of Play Worse Experience in my Life
The reason why Golf is a dying sport is because of the time it takes to play and money..
Today was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had on a golf course. The first nine was 2.5 hours and then the next 3 holes was 1.5 hours. If I stayed the round would take 7 hours. But of course the sun would have set way before that. I quit and drive off the course in total disgust .
No Rangers is the reason for this problem.
I live on a golf course and play 3 days a week. If golf was going to take 7 hours then no one would play the game.
Outside of that the conditions of the first 12 holes was fantastic.
Before I play at Swan Lake I will call and ask if they have a Ranger otherwise I won’t put myself through the agony.
