Monroe CC
Played as a twosome on Sunday afternoon and didn't run in to anyone until the 16th hole. Course is short and it looked like there were a few other groups out there but can easily be played in under 3 hours. Not very challenging but the conditions of the fairways were concerning. Mostly burnt out with occasional dirt patches means you're better off in the rough. Greens were still in OK shape. I would maybe come back in the fall, but not a bad option for a last minute round on a weekend afternoon.
Laid back atmosphere, nice course.
Nice course with a laid back atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and the course is not n good shape. The greens are in better condition than in the past.
A comfortable diversion
A 9hole, double tee box for second 9. Fairway and green slopes lend difficulty to play.
Great value for money
First time playing this course, great for beginners, but also have some challenging holes. This is a great value for money, and I would definitely recommend this course.
Offer you couldn' refuse
$10 green fees on a Saturday, you have to play. ( hole course different tee boxes for back nine. Course in good shape, tee boxes a little uneven, traps more dirt than sand, greens roll pretty true, and staff are friendly.
unfriendly man
at the end of 18 holes we were thinking of playing another 9. asked the attendent what it would cost around 3:30. he gave us a price of $30 and said this was no golf now price, there was no one on course.
we left he was very rude and this was after paying $18 for a 6 pack. ( $ 30 each, its only 35 for 18 ) what a jerk
Nice Surprising course across the river
First time at the course and was pleasantly surprised for the value of the course and the condition. Alot of slopes and challenges on the course.
Unfriendly staff
When we showed up on a Monday morning in the fall, not even a good morning greeting from the front desk. I suddenly remembered the surly woman the previous time I played this course. I don't want overly friendly, just pleasant demeanor. We were 1 of only 2 groups at the course.
The course is a nice 9 hole and had no leaves on the fairways. It is the perfect course to bring your kids to see if they love the game.

scenic
the stream across several fairways is a great feature, love or hate it.
Lousy course and worst customer service ever!
Arrived on time for our reserved tee time. Played nine and stopped in the clubhouse for a burger at the turn. To our dismay, a children's shotgun tournament was starting 45 minutes later when we came out to play the back. There were little kids on every green and tee box. Our round was over. The manager did not offer any credit or even an apology for the scheduling error. He could not have been more obnoxious.
Not worth the trouble to play on this cow pasture.
Challenging Greens
Fairways very dry. Have not had rain in a while.Need sand in bunkers.
Decent for price
The course layout for playing 9 twice is great but the conditions evertyime I've played is not good. Extremely dry with crab grass everywhere, incredibly enough the greens are very good. Great views and fun course other than the drab conditions.
Unpleasure
Thia course was just like a abandoned place. There was no ranger to control. There were so many weeds and clovers in the fairways instead of grass. Tee boxes were so muddy. Even hough green fee was vey cheap, I wasted my precious sunday afternoon. If you like to play golf avoid this junk yard.
Enjoyed it
had a great time on this course. It is beginner friendly, however greens were very challenging. I will be playing here again
Great practice mountain course
The course itself is not difficult as it is short, but presents some challenging lies since a few holes are sloppy. The greens are in great conditions, but the tee boxes and fairways need some attention. It is a good course to practice playing on hills and elevation changes. I also think it's very smart that this 9 hole course offers two sets of tees, to give an 18 holes feel to it!
Good course for novice
Good value for 18 holes. Basic open 9 hole course with 2 sets of tees to make 18. Limited water hazards, just a creek cutting across a few fairways. Played with a twosome on Saturday afternoon in July and course was fairly empty.
Things fall apart
Ive played here a few times in the past year, and was generally ok with my experience, because it was such a cheap greens fee. Now I dont believe I would go back, even if you let me play for free!!! This was the first time I played there this year, and it's like night and day. The course is not maintained, with some greens for example going from green surface to 4" dandelions as a first cut. The fairways were overgrown, and it was often hard to distinguish fairway from first cut. To add to it, there was a foursome right before me made up of two 50 year old guys in jeans and jean shorts, and two 7-8 year old boy and girl! The kids were adorable, but they were kids being kids. Loud, having fun. They hit every shot to each green, even if it meant 40 shots at it! No one policed this at all, so I just went around them, but you get the point. Shame.
Staff unfriendly!
When I arrived there was no place to park. The area was full of small children and parents. I asked the staff if I would be able to play the second 9 of 18 (9 hole course) and was advised that was my problem. You get what you pay for. I asked if I could play another day and was told you booked today you play today.I was not able to play 18 and went
home.
Not too bad
9 hole course that has 2 t-boxes per hole to split the "2 nines". Course is in decent shape. Some greens better than other. Some green slopes are pretty tough for such an average course. Great place to go out for a practice round.
