Rude staff, no water
Ranger is very rude. Somebody in my foursome hit a ball out of bounds. He dropped another ball, Ranger came over and said you can't be hitting two shots. Yelled at us for pace to play even though we were waiting on over half the holes. Other big complaint is how freaking hard is it to put water jugs on every third or fourth hole. Cart girl was nowhere to be found on the back nine.
Need to do better
I've been playing this course for years and I was really disappointed when I played 7/9. So many of the tee boxes were in dreadful shape with mold/fungus/damage and there were greens also with obvious problems. The pace of play was awful...took us over 5 hours to play on a Thursday at noon. This used to be one of my favorite places even though it's an hour's drive but my local municipal course (2 miles away) is in far better shape for a lot less.

Nice course
This was the first time playing mansion ridge. We got paired up with a couple other guys. We were compatible and it was a really great round. My only issue is forcing the pace of play saying that we were behind and having a ranger watching us going down the fairway. If they didn't put a food shack in the middle of the golf course that you hit on the sixth hole and again on the 11th hole where everybody stops for drinks and food then the pace would be normal. We played 4 hours and 15 minutes for a new course. That's not bad! I'd play it again.
Great course. Avoid on weekends if possible
We played on a Saturday and teed off 30 minutes after our scheduled tee time because of tee times being baked up. Club oversells tee times on weekend. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Nice lay out with a lot of elevation changes. Not worth the 200 dollars they get on weekends but weekday prices in the 80 dollar range are well worth a visit.
