About
The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

Great course
Middle Bay has a terrific golf course the one problem with the course is that it does not drain very well we played the morning after a 1 inch rain there was a lot of water in the sand traps and the fairways on number 13 was completely underwater in spots we’ve seen this before on the 13th all it’s a major problem for the place this spring they had seemingly solved the drainage problem and there was grass in the fairway that’s gone now after some repeated floods and to me it looks like the only solution is to rebuild the fairway from the 200 yard park on into the green I’m sure this will be a very expensive proposition despite this I’m looking forward to going back to Middle Bay as frequently as possible it’s a terrific golf course and other than the 13th fairway and some spots on the 14thThe course is in great shape

First Timer
The fairways were in excellent condition…..like a carpet
The rough was cut perfect so you could find your ball.
It’s early August and a few greens were a little beat up but overall they were good and challenging.

Not as good as before
Fairways a little challenging. Course has always struggled to drain well but some fairways in really bad shape. Tees are ok, greens are ok

Nice Round
The course was in good condition, There was some water damage from the recent storms. However, the greens and fairways, not damaged, were in great condition. This course is easy to navigate and plays at a steady pace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The club house is still just a trailer so amenities are limited. They do stock a better than average snack shed with ample choices for during round food and drinks. Prices are higher then other courses, yet, their fairways and greens are always in better to superior condition. If you want conditions that will complement your game and not hinder it, then pay this price and enjoy.

Bring your wind game
Very fun course always in excellent condition. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On the bay so wind is always a factor. Greens are country club quality.
