The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

HAVE PLAYED THIS COUSE FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS AS A GUEST OF A MEMBER A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE 90'S AND SINCE IT WENT PUBLIC AFTER SANDY. THIS IS A GREAT COUSE. GREENS A IN GREAT SHAPE BUT SOME OF THE FAIRWAYS ARE REALLY IN POOR SHAPE ESP THE 13TH AND THEY ARE IN NEED OF SOD ASAP. NO EXCUSE!

Deceptive Staff

We booked a tee time for 10:30am through golf pass. When I checked in, the staff said the tee time was booked for 11am. I showed them the receipt from golf pass that it was 10:30am, so they said it must've been a "glitch". The staff clearly knew the people that went ahead of us so we know that we were most likely lied to.

On top of waiting, the practice/short game area was closed as well as the driving range.

Windy and cold 9:30am

Wet from heavy rain previous day Monday 3-31-25. Green little bumpy from last year aeration but pretty fast depending with the wind direction. 15-25 mph. New club house. Absolutely no issues at all. Play with 3 groups and done 3.5 hours!!!

Great course, but there's an excess of bird droppings.

I played last 12/1/24. I have also played before at the end of the summer and the issue is the same. Too much bird droppings everywhere. This makes the golfing experience a bit difficult and disgusting.

First time here this past week and I havent stopped thinking about coming back. Staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the greens and course layout. For the price you can't beat playing here. I felt like a country club member when I finished the round they cleaned my clubs for me; and took me back by golf cart to my car. Amazing service 10/10!
