The Golf Club at Middle Bay is located on Long Island's south shore overlooking the barrier islands of Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach. Nearly every hole looks out across water. Though the golf course is just an hour outside of New York City, you'll feel as though you've been whisked off to an out-of-town resort. The layout has a challenging design that will test your accuracy with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Wind will also be a factor on this golf course. The Golf Club at Middle Bay is a tough but fair layout that players of all skill levels will enjoy. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range available.

Golfing Pleasure
This course combines the features of both Northern and Southern golfing with water and winds off the bay to trees and tight fairways further inland. You get to play two courses in one. They keep the fairways and greens in pristine condition.
Had a had a great time with my friends on this very nice course.
Love golf
Staff was friendly, course was in great shape, pass was good. Golf is just getting expensive for the average player, especially if you’re retired. It’s a Shame.
Always fun
I always enjoy playing this course especially when it’s not windy!
On the bay
Great layout, Challenging from any tee box. The course plays completely different when the wind direction changes, so it is a thinking man’s course, you need to play a few times to really appreciate it!
Garbage course rude staff
If you want to play golf where the conditions are terrible and wanted to be treated terrible for asking questions then this is the course you want to play! Played golf here I arrived 20 mins early and the starter told me I was late when I asked him to explain himself he ignored me and made me wait and rolled his eyes. The pace of play was extremely slow and nothing was done about it and to top it all off I just asked a simple question to one of the employees there and the guy completely blew up on me for asking the question and started screaming that I asked such a question and when I asked for his name he refused. I will never play at this garbage course again with these garbage conditions and horrible staff I wish I could give 0 stars
Great Option in Area
One of the better non-private courses in the area.
SOUTH SHORE GEM
HAVE PLAYED THIS COUSE FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS AS A GUEST OF A MEMBER A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE 90'S AND SINCE IT WENT PUBLIC AFTER SANDY. THIS IS A GREAT COUSE. GREENS A IN GREAT SHAPE BUT SOME OF THE FAIRWAYS ARE REALLY IN POOR SHAPE ESP THE 13TH AND THEY ARE IN NEED OF SOD ASAP. NO EXCUSE!
Deceptive Staff
We booked a tee time for 10:30am through golf pass. When I checked in, the staff said the tee time was booked for 11am. I showed them the receipt from golf pass that it was 10:30am, so they said it must've been a "glitch". The staff clearly knew the people that went ahead of us so we know that we were most likely lied to.
On top of waiting, the practice/short game area was closed as well as the driving range.
Great course
Great course for the money always in pretty good shape, greens are fast firm and sloped making them tough. The wind off the water also presents a challenge! I’d recommend this course to anyone
