Broadacres Golf Club
About
Broadacres Golf Club is situated in southern Rockland County on the border between New York and New Jersey. Its convenient location allows for easy access from both states and it's only a 20-minute ride from midtown Manhattan. The golf course has nine holes with an alternate set of tees for an 18-hole round. The layout sprawls across rolling hills dappled with towering oak trees. The golf course incorporates a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. With narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, accuracy will serve you well on this course. You'll face several doglegs and there are strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. Broadacres Golf Club's signature third hole is one of the toughest holes in the area. This par 3 plays up a steep hill to an undulating green.

Nice 9 hole course
Mostly narrow course so can be tough for beginners. Greens are on the smaller side. Some holes are very long.
FYI, drive in more to left for parking, otherwise could towed if you park in the hospital lot.
Would never play here again
If you’re looking for grumpy old white men to yell at you then this is your place. I’ve played here three times, the first time we were yelled at bc we teed of perfectly at our tee time instead of 5 minutes early. This round I brought my girlfriend to play her first real course, one of the workers came up to us and was so rude and mean he made her cry and we left. This golf course is for male chauvinist’s I will never play here again due to its popularity with hopeless old men with nothing better to do.
Worst golf course
I felt like I was being chased during the play by sending people out without any time interval. The person hitting the back hit the ball without thinking and I almost got hit.
Staff extremely rude
We had three players and one of the player.’s first time on field. All I asked the staff who is an elderly man, if they have filled the spot as one of our friend was a beginner.
Next thing I hear is him preaching me that we shouldn’t have chosen this course, rather we should go to chip and put place. How dare he say that? Very rude.
Great course foe the money
The course is fun. Tight fairways with plenty of length. Course is in great shape. Some good water hazards that are fun. Staff was vey helpful.
Nice Layout
Some nice holes. Rather tight / narrow fairways - be prepared to play amongst the trees! The bunkers were pretty dire though…not recovered / no TLC since the storm. Great layout and some testing holes.
Good 9 hole for after work
I come here if I want to get a quick 9 holes in. Definitely challenging for a beginner like me. Has a good variety of holes to play and the courses greens, and fairways are nicely cut. Fairly cheap too for 9 holes. That's what keeps me coming back to play here.
