Broadacres Golf Club is situated in southern Rockland County on the border between New York and New Jersey. Its convenient location allows for easy access from both states and it's only a 20-minute ride from midtown Manhattan. The golf course has nine holes with an alternate set of tees for an 18-hole round. The layout sprawls across rolling hills dappled with towering oak trees. The golf course incorporates a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. With narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, accuracy will serve you well on this course. You'll face several doglegs and there are strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. Broadacres Golf Club's signature third hole is one of the toughest holes in the area. This par 3 plays up a steep hill to an undulating green.

This is peaceful little course

Tough for a 9 Hole Course
Usually your 9 hole courses are easy, but Broadacres is no picnic. There are big changes in elevation throughout and the greens are a little tricky. For the beginner, it's a step up in difficulty from your typical municipal course. For the better golfer, it's a great place to prepare for tough championship caliber courses. Many shot wind up having a sloping lie, which is always good to practice. For the money, the value you get is the best in the Rockland County / North Bergen County area.
9 hole
Got right out with a clean well kept cart. Pace was perfect for playing 2 balls. Course was in good conditions with excellent greens.
In a pinch
I like to walk 9 holes and this course fits the bill.condition are poor in the very beginning of the season and the last couple of weeks of the season. But conditions do improve doing this season and it’s not a bad layout for a quick 9
Last 3 holes
It’s become my winter course and the toughest course that I walk . If you have Cartlidge in your knees then walk the course and enjoy three of the toughest finishing holes you’ll find. The 15th hole is straight uphill par 5 and the green is right next to the parking lot so if you’re walking it’s the perfect place to bale out . I think I’ll ride next time
Nice 9 hole course
Mostly narrow course so can be tough for beginners. Greens are on the smaller side. Some holes are very long.
FYI, drive in more to left for parking, otherwise could towed if you park in the hospital lot.
Would never play here again
If you’re looking for grumpy old white men to yell at you then this is your place. I’ve played here three times, the first time we were yelled at bc we teed of perfectly at our tee time instead of 5 minutes early. This round I brought my girlfriend to play her first real course, one of the workers came up to us and was so rude and mean he made her cry and we left. This golf course is for male chauvinist’s I will never play here again due to its popularity with hopeless old men with nothing better to do.
