Broadacres Golf Club
About
Broadacres Golf Club is situated in southern Rockland County on the border between New York and New Jersey. Its convenient location allows for easy access from both states and it's only a 20-minute ride from midtown Manhattan. The golf course has nine holes with an alternate set of tees for an 18-hole round. The layout sprawls across rolling hills dappled with towering oak trees. The golf course incorporates a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. With narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, accuracy will serve you well on this course. You'll face several doglegs and there are strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. Broadacres Golf Club's signature third hole is one of the toughest holes in the area. This par 3 plays up a steep hill to an undulating green.

SLOW SLOW SLOW
Course was very dry.
And very lush.
I hadn't played here in a few years, and now I know why.
I am glad I did not pay full price!!!
A hidden jem
Nice course that is worth playing again . Course conditions are very well maintained
between the fairways and the greens .
Decent for $
Decent course for the money.
Some tricky holes. Tough uphill par 3.
Some small greens. Played it while greens were aerated, so didn't get a good sense of what they were like. Bunkers were poor condition.
Had fun, nice staff, good for a local "warm up course"
Enjoyable
I have played Broad Acres for about 10 year's now. Always a good time. It is a tough course from the back tee's but they now have 4 different tee box's. Blue, white, red,and gold. It has helped to speed up play. My weekday round of 18 is about 3 1/2 hours. Weekends are about 30 to 40 minutes longer. The course is well maintained. The greens are tricky but true. The tee box's need work. The fairways are plush. I would recommend this course for any level of play. It's a hidden gem.
Great experience at Broadacres
The people there were very patient as it was a busy day and slow movement between holes. Staff says late mornings were best time if you want to golf uninterrupted.
Good greens and traps
If you have the luck of the Irish on your side then this place is for you.
Best kept secret
Best 9 hole course in the state you play it twice. Pricy expensive. Great staff well kept greens and fairways. $65.00 for 18 on weekend is not worth the price but golf now discount if it's a available for $25 bucks is a great deal. I play it as often as I can get the discount rate but would never play it at full price.
Nice course
Nice 9 hole course that you play twice. I would play again.
Terrible staff. Stay away!
Manager was extremely rude. He put my brother and me to play with an older couple. They were really nice people but played very slow. We didn't complain - just enjoyed ourselves and let them take their time.
Wen we were finally done with 1st 9 and were planning to play another 9 (we paid for 18 holes from the start) the manager wouldn't let us because the first nide took us so long. The worst part is that there were no people waiting to play at this point anyway! And I didn't get my money back!
I will never come back here and my advise to you if you want to have a good time gosomewhere else.
Could've been better
Booked through Golf Now. They don't like it. Had a 12:50 tee time. This was a golf Now time and I couldn't get out at my time due to the fact that others in this group were late or didn't show up. I waited a half hour on the first tee box before I went out on my own. Course wasn't bad. Pace of play became unbearable as I caught up to a group of beginners in front of me who had nowhere to go. Playing alone on this short 9 hole course was 5+ hours. Played 18 for $22, can't complain, but no food was a big issue.
Solid 9 Hole Course
This is a tight 9 hole course (that you play twice to get in your 18). Greens were great. Fairways were fine. Roughs had a lot of unintentional blotches. The oddest part of the course was venturing to the clubhouse. You park in a clearing of woods about a quarter mile away from course and almost walk through the first hole to get there.
good course for the money
course is always well kept and generally not too crowded
This course is great
I had a good day weather nice and I brought my friend for the first time and he loved it. I play there at least 1 a week I try
Broadacres
This is my home course.
Great test of skill. Lots of trouble.
Challenging.
I am a 8 handicap and have been addicted to mastering this challenging fun course. Really enjoy it! Greens fun slow and lots of breaks and grounds kept up very well. Very easy to fit a round in on this fast paced course.
Flat course
I haven't played this course in 10 years at least, and the course and clubhouse are in mediocre condition. It's nine hole course which doesn't bother me. The course is very flat but somehow it's still interesting to play. Don't overspend for a tee time here. Conditions of the greens is good not slick as you would imagine. Go play!!!
Nice course nice weather
I read the reviews and decided to give this course a try. It was a nice course but was quite surprised the pro shop was nothing more than a desk with a computer and a couple of shirts and hats on a folding table. The people were nice and somewhat welcoming drinking beer outside on the patio. The rough was very hard to find your ball. I took this into account and switched to playing with Srixon bright yellow balls to assist with finding my ball. The greens were slick and great to play. Well maintained. The bunkers were a little hard to get out of due to rain from the night before. The greens were well protected by bunkers. There was even a bunker in the middle of the fairway on a par 5. A cruel joke to play on players. The pace of play was fast first round of 9 holes. Met the rangers who was very nice to deal with as he directed my group. Then we got to the second go around and came up on a small group of two playing at pace of snails. The group in front of them were also playing at the pace of snails. Ranger stated he has never seen so many non golfers playing today. All in all will play this course again.
No Blue Hill
Its a charming nine-hole course thats not that challenging even to the average player. The staff can be weird. The pace was brutally slow the day i played.
No rangers, no cart girls.
Not bad
Overall a decent place. Course was in good shape. Not too challenging with no leaves on the trees yet. Pace was fine although it could always be quicker. Something about the guy behind the pro shop counter was off, but whatever.
Nasty Pro Shop
The Pro shop was extremely rude! They complained about golf now and I told them to take it up with them.
