Great conditions
Fairways were well maintained and the greens were challenging.
Course condition
Course is in great shape. Fairways are well maintained and clear of all debris. The green are very fair a roll true to form..
First Timer at Rolling Oaks
My wife and I had the opportunity to play a Round of golf today at Rolling Oaks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The course was in excellent condition. As it is an “executive course” , many of the holes are in the 150-175 yard range. The course is tree lined and has both hilly terrain and water hazards iso it made for a challenging round. The special on GolfNow was $14 per person including a golf cart which was a great value. We will definitely tell our friends about this gem of a course.
Not rushed
I enjoyed the course. Everyone went at there pace with no one being inpatient and I enjoyed it because it was a challenge hitting between the trees. Course is well maintained. Pretty I felt well relaxed. Playing.
Great value
Nice course. Went on a Saturday. No wait. Just over 3 hrs for a round. It's a narrow course that will test your iron accuracy. Greens were average speed and smooth.
Fun track for all skills. Practice course for the low handicappers. Good time for all.
First Time Out This Year
For the time of year, the course is in very good shape, especially the greens.
Over the winter, the cart paths were replaced, new asphalt with rocks on the sides, very well done and almost complete.
Also, a number of trees were removed, which helps play.
Not Great Conditions at All
The course conditions were terrible. It is November so I did not expect it to be perfect but leaving leaves all over the course is terrible. You hit the ball right down the fairway and you cannot find your ball because it went into a pile of leaves.
Not an executive course
I booked this course with three other people and since it is marked as an executive course I was hoping for a good round, the bathroom was discussting, the first nine the layout is horrible, circled around to find the 4th tee box no signs to let you know where to go and the golf cart path was in terrible condition felt like was riding a bull on those path, other players had no golf edicate balls landing near us no one yelling out four, another group asked us if they could play through we had to wait for the group before us and then one in my group tees off ball already in fairway they pull up and asked if they could play through, the group I was with was from out of town so they had to rent clubs there the grips where in terrible condition, then after we left the front desk calls and states a club is missing. I would never return here nor would I recommend anyone to play here.
bumpy ride in carts
Cart path needs work. outer vegetation needs trimming ,sand traps need large stones taken out. still liked the course.
I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK
I GOT A GOLF NOW HOT DEAL. I WENT TO THE COURSE AND WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE I USED GOLF NOW IN THE PAST I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO USE GOLF NOW AGAIN AND SHOULD PAY AT THE COURSE THE GOING RATE. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I CALLED GOLF NOW, TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY OFFERED ME A DOZEN GOLF BALLS, I WOULD'T EXCEPT. IF THEY DON'T WANT BE ON GOLF NOW THEY SHOULD TAKE THEMSELFS OFF. AND GOLF NOW SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING BETTER THAN OFFERING A DOZEN BALLS. I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE IS STEALING. GOLF NOW VIP , I DON'T THINK SO.
Oh my
Maybe the worst course on LI which is fine because I knew what it was going in however play was so slow. Waited an hour for a cart. Greeted immediately by a negative manager telling me his day was nothing but problems. So slow that I was told to play the front again instead of he back.
