Great day at Rolling Oaks
I haven’t played this course in more than a year and was very impressed with the improvements at the golf course. The Greens were In
excellent condition and the course looked very nice. Fairways were mowed nicely and the traps were all nicely raked. The staff was a pleasure to deal with.
They just need to trim the branches up high hanging over the fairways, especially on hole number 5. Good shots can sometimes be blocked by tree branches very high up. Also sand traps did have a lot of rocks in them that can damage your wedge.
We definitely will be back!
Course conditions
The fairways were well maintained. The greens were very good. The trees were well maintained and did present challenging conditions.
Course is not difficult but accuracy is important as some par 3's are very narrow and heavily tree lined although finding your ball is not usually a problem. An easy 112yd par three yielded a "hole in one".
THEY DONT LIKE PEOPLE USING GOLF NOW
EVERY TIME I GO THERE I GET A HARD TIME FROM THE CASHIER JOHN, ABOUT USING GOLF NOW. IF THEY DONT WANT GOLF NOW PEOPLE THEY SHOULD TAKE THEMSELVES OFF OF IT. THE COURSE ITSELF HAS GOTTEN MUCH BETTER IN THE LAST YEAR AND MY WIFE LIKES TO PLAY THERE BECAUSE IT IS A SHORT COURSE AND GOOD FOR HER.

First Timer at Rolling Oaks
My wife and I had the opportunity to play a Round of golf today at Rolling Oaks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The course was in excellent condition. As it is an “executive course” , many of the holes are in the 150-175 yard range. The course is tree lined and has both hilly terrain and water hazards iso it made for a challenging round. The special on GolfNow was $14 per person including a golf cart which was a great value. We will definitely tell our friends about this gem of a course.
Not rushed
I enjoyed the course. Everyone went at there pace with no one being inpatient and I enjoyed it because it was a challenge hitting between the trees. Course is well maintained. Pretty I felt well relaxed. Playing.
Great value
Nice course. Went on a Saturday. No wait. Just over 3 hrs for a round. It's a narrow course that will test your iron accuracy. Greens were average speed and smooth.
Fun track for all skills. Practice course for the low handicappers. Good time for all.
First Time Out This Year
For the time of year, the course is in very good shape, especially the greens.
Over the winter, the cart paths were replaced, new asphalt with rocks on the sides, very well done and almost complete.
Also, a number of trees were removed, which helps play.
Not Great Conditions at All
The course conditions were terrible. It is November so I did not expect it to be perfect but leaving leaves all over the course is terrible. You hit the ball right down the fairway and you cannot find your ball because it went into a pile of leaves.
