Rolling Oaks Golf Course

Very no frills, gas cart, public course throwback. The guys that works it are all nice and i like taking my son here for 18 with me and we both have a great time.

The fairways and green were in excellent condition and the layout was very good. The problem was the trees are very overgrown, into the fairways, making it very difficult for the average to below average golfer to catch a fairway without gettingknocked around even with a straight shot. If they were to cut back the trees from over the fairways, this would be a top executive course on Long Island. Over all it was an enjoyable round.

My son-in-law and I arrived at the course and was told to wait 45 minutes because they had an outing. There were a lot of people waiting. After that time. The starter Lou approached us and told us to either get a refund or we would have to walk with the cork bags on our back. He told us will be better off, leaving and seeking a refund. I went into the pro shop and the staff member told us to leave because courts were not available because they were doing two rounds for the outing 36 holes. A lot of people left cleaning ourselves. I was charged over $80 for the round and tried to call Golf now and no one will pick up for at least an hour. after getting through to Golf now they told me they would have to call the golf shop to verify this which I’m very happy to oblige to no avail we’re out the $87 and no when I go off now contacting us all she wants a refund. I just got off now many times . Never again…

This would be a nice course if they would trim back all their trees. It must’ve been nice when it first opened and the trees were much smaller but now they encroach over the fairway on many holes way too much.

Been coming here for years now and as always very beautiful greens! A good course to practice my irons.

i been playing hear for years in my opionion and my father as well and others that have played with us the conditions and the way the place is kinda is embarassing no ball washers out at any hole barely any trash cans out no amenities what so ever for anyone the water that builds up the sand the dirt all over cart paths and tee boxes as well as nothing get trimmed branches hanging down that hit you as well as hang over greens whatever maintence crew takes care of that course should lose there jobs and new people be hired that actually work and care about the place im not being unresonable i cant get the sames things said from many others the place needs a total overhaul most likey be the last time i play hear ill pay more money to play at a better course

not good. would rather pay more to go somewhere else
