These greens are not flat!
Played in terrific weather. The course was in great shape and the greens where rolling well. As a first time player at this course, I didn't find there were too many "local knowledge" holes. Everything is pretty much right in front of you. Would certainly play here again.
Wild Wood is Wild!!
What a great course! The hills, the vistas, the grounds were all top notch. In early spring, courses can littered with sticks, uneven greens, or uncut fairways. Wild Wood was not that course. It is very hilly, so walking would be a challenge. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Great conditions for mid-April
Given that it's mid-April and we received lots if rain last week, the course was in great shape! Fairways were being cut, only a few places where I had to clean my ball before hitting. Quite impressed!
Great course for the money
Course for November 26th in Rochester was in excellent condition, no leaves on the course, and it looked like the fairways were recently mowed. The GPS carts were a plus even though they wouldn’t let you on the fairways because it was a little too soft. They were just looking after the golf course. Would recommend this golf course.
Greens need work
70% of the greens are in very rough shape and 1 green on the par 3 13th was completely destroyed. The layout of the course is nice however the greens are in serious need of maintenance.
Best course around
Can't believe I've played in greater Rochester area for ten plus years and never played before.
Wonderful Course
Excellent Course, nice people and they are always working on making it even better!
Nice course
Well taken care of golf course. Reasonably priced. Would play this course again.
Meh
Usually love this course but the pin placements were horrid when I played. A couple feet from the side of the green, and/or on slopes made putting virtually impossible. The greens keeper must hate golfers based on where he put the pins.
We get to our tee time and find out that it’s cart path only and my husband and I have arthritis in our knees and played only 2 holes because we couldn’t climb up and down from the cart path. So, we paid $65 to play only 2 holes. I would not recommend this course to anyone. I’m very mad!!!
Great layout, nice conditions, fun group.
After playing, I will definitely be back for another round. I had a great time playing with two members that knew the course well. They were able to give me hints on playing each hole that certainly helped me lower my score. I look forward to playing here again.
Underrated Rochester Course!
Very well kept, challenging, great price. Honestly as good as a Ravenwood, Greystone, Mill Creek, etc. Most underrated course in Rochester!
The owners are to be commended for the fine job that they are doing with this fun beautiful challenging course. I love playing there!
