Another great day at Smithtown Landing
Course in pretty good shape for this time of year. Always start tee times on time. Very friendly staff.. Under construction, but when finished the amenities( dining) will be outstanding!!!
Beautiful Layout - Wonderful Staff
This is a gem - one of the most interesting layouts on Long Island - great design that uses the terrain well. And the staff is wonderful!

More staff would be helpful
The greens and fairways were pretty good for this time of year but on several tees, the garbege cans were overflowing with a lot litter on the ground all around them. Pretty disgusting. Tee boxes really chewed up. Hard to find any grass. $56 to walk in February is pretty steep. I like to play here but please hire someone to pick up the trash. All greens have two cups which is a great idea so when the group is finished putting, they put the flag in the other one to save the wear and tear near the hole but nobody was doing it. Starter was a nice guy but should have told the groups to alternate the pins when they were done with the hole.

Besides being able to play golf in February the next suprise was how great the course was in a must play if you never and once you do that you’ll always wanna go back!!!

Very slow pace. No ranger
Backed up after 3 holes. Many tee boxes recovering and closed off. Need ranger to move things along.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Good course, very slow play
Every other course has 9 or 10 minutes between tee times, Smithtown still has 8 minutes. Before the pandemic, course play wasn't too bad. Last year I stopped playing here due to the slow play.
