Somers Pointe Golf Club - East Hill

Tough wooded mountain type course. I needed water but no cart person until 9th hole then never seen again.in spite of first time I played ok. Probably wouldn’t come again due to distance from my house unless no other options. Used golf now hot deal

Greens were fast and true. Very challenging course

was once clearly a lovely course, but lots of bare patches, very weather damaged car paths have made it a bit old and weathered looking. Greens are fine

Overall nice course, well laid out, in very good condition and very scenic.

Not a great reception when coming to the course. Pretty rude staff at bat drop. No cart person working the course. No water throughout the course let alone that it was 100 degrees out. Staff also did not let others bring coolers onto the course even with no water or cart person on the course. Course itself has personality. No need for driver on every home. There is no sand in the bunkers…just dirt. Cart paths are pretty bad. Tee boxes are taken care of. Overall not a great place. Won’t be coming back here

Saw the reviews on here about the staff and I know exactly who they’re referring to now. This older man starts screaming at us because we were going to drive the carts to our car and drop off our bags to avoid walking them back. After 18 holes in the sun I didn’t think it was a big deal. Then we get off and a young kid asks if we want him to clean our clubs and we respectfully decline. The older man then says “come on throw the kid a couple bucks”.

Hit the ball well but 3 outed almost every green. Very challenging pin placements. Didn’t score well but still had a great time.

Greens and fairways were beautiful. Tee boxes leave a lot to be desired. Staff was amazing. Course is tough and good luck hitting drivers routinely. But it was a great round and we’ll definitely be back

Solid course for what it is and would rather play here than other comparables for the price. Got lucky with a quiet Saturday and limited pairing Strewn about the holes throughout the the course. Tee boxes are hit and miss and greens are quick but manageable.

First off I knew when it was the only course available to book a week in advance, something was up. I called to ask if we can bring a cooler because it’s 90+ degrees out and you really need to stay hydrated. I was told no outside drinks or food of any kind. I said ok but are there drink carts on the course and I was told yes. We teed off at 12:45 on a Sunday afternoon and we saw the cart girl on the 3rd hole and that was it the rest of the day. We had asked at the 10th tee box if the bar was open and it wasn’t. This is unacceptable in 90 degree weather. There was no gps in the cart and not even a picture of the holes on the scorecard so we had ZERO idea where the greens were. Hitting blind on so many holes. They don’t put twosomes together so people were playing through us all day. I will absolutely never play here again. Like I said, I knew when it was the only course available something was up.
