Everything changed
Unlike before, it is getting better and better. The greens are fast and in great condition. It is so much fun to play because every hole is thrilling and keeps you on your toes. All the staff are professional and friendly.
Greens were VERY GOOD!! Pleasantly surprised at how nice it was!!! Can’t wait to go back

like the course layout
Many holes, especially Par 5s and 3s, are bit challenging, fun to play.

Not sure why the bad reviews
Hard course but I like how they reversed holes 1 and 10…makes for a better start to the round
Some fairways are challenging (Hole 10 for example)
Otherwise though for the price its a good play
Bring a cigar, grab some drinks and hit it

Tough but fun
Fun challenging layout keeps the driver in the bag for a lot of tee shots which I like. Pared the double dog leg number 5. Greens and fairways in good shape. Ranger kept telling us to pick up the pace even though there was no one behind us which was pretty annoying. But if the prices come down I'd play here more often.

Terrible staff
Been to this course several times, trying to challenging myself with a tough course. But the more I come back the worse staff I see, specially the man in proshop and the starter. They want to prove that they are VIP people and you are borrowing them a round, not bringing them money and job. It makes you feel you are annoying them when you come and play. Will never come back!
Somers National
Course was in pretty good shape, but the fairways are too narrow and greens sloped in unplayable way. Would not go back.
