Somers Pointe Golf Club - East Hill

Beautifully kept course. Not crowded at all. Was a private course 2 years ago so it must still be a secret. Some greens are tricky, they look flat and are not. So glad we found it on GolfNow and tried it! The price was a bargain. But the lovely clubhouse restaurant was not. Although we saw specials boards for food and drink for other times.

There are a lot of non-golf activities at the clubhouse too including karaoke night and football watching parties. Great experience going there!

Made a last minute tee time here when my friend got a last

minute hall pass to play a round. Course was conveniently located between us. The layout is better than most courses, but the conditions are below average. Tee boxes are really beat up, and the greens are ok.

Its nice to see that they are making some small enhancements amongst the holes here. I have to give compliment, the course is as lush as I've seen in a while and the greens are perfect (and FAST).

The layout has some challenges but will make you a better golfer if you plan your shots accordingly.

Played 18 midday, weekday in 3.5 hours...so not a bad pace.

Tee boxes on some holes could use a little love but nothing to take away from the ability to hit a clean tee shot.

First time playing here for our group. Some holes none of us could figure out if it goes left or right on the 2nd shot. How about some new carts with GPS or at the very least put the layout of the hole on the scorecard or the hole marker. I expected more for the price.

The course was a very good experience for my first round of golf ever.

What a wonderful experience. Well maintained course. Wonderful views. A few challenging holes. Noisy golf carts. The GREENs very good condition, I just could not read them . Breaks, speed, every skill to putt and I still came up short. YES! I will play it again.

Little foot note: when you return the carts you have to walk your bags all the way back to the parking lot.

We played the morning after some pretty heavy over night rains. While the course was wet there were surprisingly no puddles. It was quite impressive. Pace of play was fine but the course was not overly crowded. I’ve driven by this course hundreds of times. I’m happy to have finally been convinced to play. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Will certainly be back

I have played this course a few times, expecting things to improve, but they seem to get worse.

The starter and pro shop staff are extremely rude and treat you as if you're bothering them. The food/drink service staff was friendly and helpful.

The course layout is challenging, with several poorly designed par 5s.

The carts don't have GPS despite the course being littered with blind shots. I often had to drive up to ensure the group in front of us was not in play. The pace of play on the course is good, so this usually isn't an issue but can be if there is a little bit of traffic.

The last time I played on a Saturday morning it appeared that the teeboxes were in the same place for a week and hundreds of rounds had been played from the same spot. The greens seemed to be in good condition in spots, but there were too many ball marks on each green to have been only from the forgetful golfers in front of me that morning.

Greens were very well kept

Overall course was in nice shape

For the cost its worth it to play
