Mohansic - Great course for the money
This is a terrific course, conditions have been excellent. Staff is very friendly.
Best of Everything!
Mohansic has great natural scenic vistas. The course is well maintained. The layout is such that you rarely see other teams of golfers.
The true intrinsic value of Mohansic are the people! Everyone is friendly and helpful, especially Ron & Tino in the Pro shop; and Jimmy & Diane, the Rangers; and Brian the Starter (the man the myth the legend!); and all the groundskeepers. did I forget to mention the legendary Bob Roth?
The Mohansic Grill (19th hole) is lovlier than ever after the refurbishment, and run by the wonderful Ann & Larry; with their very accomodating staff headed up by the lovely Elissa. Not to mention the weekend entertainment schedule!
A day at Mohasic is truly a day off from the rest of the world!

We played Sat afternoon - great conditions but very challenging greens and the rough was challenging but everything was in great condition. Night was capped off listening to great music - THE FORCE and great food ...

Slow play
Slow play no ranger on course and witness a fight on 18 tee due to slow play

Slow Holiday Traffic
Was told before the start they were 5-10 minutes behind and very busy. Already paid for 18 holes, so had no choice.
Each hole was a 10-15 minute wait and 25 minutes off the pace by hole #5. Course, like all this summer, was rough in places if you missed the fairway but nicely kept considering. Green are small but bumpy and many blind shots.
We called it quits after 9 holes and three hours. Probably better on quieter days and early spring, late fall. Club house is all new inside and looks good restaurant.
Just not a good day for us but would like to see the back 9 another time.

Disappointing
Pace of play and course conditions were below expectations. A few holes were closed for "repair". Not the value I was expecting for a beautiful September day. Still, it was golf, not work! Won't rush back there.

Great layout
Great pace. Incredible views. Overall excellent. Only problem for me was that hole number 7 was closed. Besides that place was great.

Slow play
Slow play and no ranger on course. Witnessed fight on last hole due to slow play. Every time I play here it’s a 5-5 1/2 hour round

Mohansic
The pace of play was very slow and they did not have a ranger on the course to speed up the slower groups.
The greens were in good shape but they were painfully slow.

Not enjoyable
Played the back 9 first due to Aeration. Didn’t get the discount because I used a golf now coupon. Back 9 greens weee just awful. Needed cutting and smoothing. From 9 was aearated.
Sprinklers went off on every hole like they knew we were coming. No signs on how to get to 10 from clubhouse. (Course doesn’t go to clubhouse after 9 th. Hole. Not the best experience

Solid
This course is fairly good. The people there are friendly, the food is pretty good, and the overall experience is okay. The course conditions are just passable, but it is a very popular course that sees lots of play. Some issues do arise during the round. For example if you get a tee time that is a little later, sprinklers start going off in your face during the round, and just ruin the mood. Groups ahead can be very slow at times, but once again this is a popular course with many different people with varying ages. Past all of its issues, and the course being not excellent by any means, it is a good option for anybody and I would recommend it.

Sunday slow play day
Played on Sunday as predicted it was a 4:/1/2 hr round
Normally I don’t play on the weekends because of this but was able to play with my son and that was enjoyable.
