Slow play
You can put up with a lot but in golf slow play is unacceptable and there's no good reason for it all you need is a ranger who actually does his job
Nice day on a nice course
Overall nice outing but found storing for 15 on 3rd hole strange?

Great Westchester Course that Needs Attention
I was very excited to be back at Mohansic for the first time this season. I think this is the best public course in Westchester. My excitement was soon replaced by sadness because by the 3rd hole I could tell that Mohansic was in serious need of attention. The rough was cut to low, holes are closed, green have ice damage and the entire place needs to be watered soon. I will come back but not until things improve. BTW the driving range is also in need of attention - they have balls from the 1990's still being recycled - like hitting rocks.

I Love this Course but…
It’s sad to see your local course in bad shape and this one is. Three of the greens are in such bad shape they had to punch them, so don’t be bothered by missed putts. Hole 15 is closed due to renovation so the made up hole is not getting any love and the tee box is reflecting it. As a matter of fact, its difficult to find any decent spot to set up a fair tee shot on most tee boxes. .
If there’s a silver lining…the bunkers have fresh sand and are in great condition.
The County should step up and not only make efforts to bring this great course back but continue to give discounts to players until a Fair Score Round can be enjoyed. .
County course w/ potential
The grounds crew seem non existent. They must figure that w/ the lack of options people will pay to play regardless of conditions. Greens we’re HORRIBLE. Dirt patches ever Including tee boxes… good luck finding a good strip to tee off from.
I love the layout but it’s just taken care of respectfully.
I played solid golf regardless, shot an 82.

Should be 90% off
I have enjoyed this course for years. Unfortunately it has declined the past few and this year it has become unplayable. 16 of the 18 greens were not only in horrible condition — you can see there is a disease in the grass/greens. Pretty astounding that they charge full price for a course in this condition.

Course closed
Course was closed and wasn't notified. Three if us drove 45 minutes each. Not good.
Greens were sanded
I was not informed that half the greens were sanded, I brought three friends there, there was a heavy coating of sand on half the greens that it was impossible to putt on, I like the layout of the course, staff etc, amenities need an upgrade

I was pleasantly surprised with the layout.
There are leaves on the course but that’s expected at this time of year all in all I like the layout and the challenge of the course.
