Nice public course
Course was in very good condition but the pace of play was slow. Not sure if it was just the group in front of us but even if it was , the rangers should have pushed them.
Hello and thank you for your 5-star rating, Bandog! We're delighted you enjoyed your round. Please book another round with us soon, and thanks for choosing Mohansic Golf Course!
Pathetic!
5 hr round. Tee times only 6 minutes apart.
Waited 1.5 hrs after round for appetizers.
Never again.
Goodbye Mohansic. You suck.....

Slow moving but some very fun holes
Love hole 7, the par 3 over the water and hole 9, the long par 5. Course is in good shape but Didn’t get to finish 18 because of how slow the pace was. Was 2.5 hours + on front 9 and only got a couple more in after that.

Great conditioning
Best value in Westchester. Greens have filled in beautifully, fairways are lush; tees could use.sone TLC. Can recommend this for sure!

Fun place to shoot a round.
This course has wide fairways so it forgiving in most hole and challenging on others.

Slow play
You can put up with a lot but in golf slow play is unacceptable and there's no good reason for it all you need is a ranger who actually does his job
Hello, keys810. Thank you for visiting us at Mohansic Golf Course. We appreciate your feedback.
Nice day on a nice course
Overall nice outing but found storing for 15 on 3rd hole strange?

Great Westchester Course that Needs Attention
I was very excited to be back at Mohansic for the first time this season. I think this is the best public course in Westchester. My excitement was soon replaced by sadness because by the 3rd hole I could tell that Mohansic was in serious need of attention. The rough was cut to low, holes are closed, green have ice damage and the entire place needs to be watered soon. I will come back but not until things improve. BTW the driving range is also in need of attention - they have balls from the 1990's still being recycled - like hitting rocks.
Hi, Sheazo1055. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Mohansic Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.
I Love this Course but…
It’s sad to see your local course in bad shape and this one is. Three of the greens are in such bad shape they had to punch them, so don’t be bothered by missed putts. Hole 15 is closed due to renovation so the made up hole is not getting any love and the tee box is reflecting it. As a matter of fact, its difficult to find any decent spot to set up a fair tee shot on most tee boxes. .
If there’s a silver lining…the bunkers have fresh sand and are in great condition.
The County should step up and not only make efforts to bring this great course back but continue to give discounts to players until a Fair Score Round can be enjoyed. .
