"Poor Kid" 1kid answering phones, carts, trash everywhere! Could really be something. It's a dump!
Average - Could use some work
Some holes were hard to find, cart paths were bumpy, some holes absolutely surrounded by houses/condos, bunkers are non-existent, definitely needs work.
Views are amazing, layout was fun, greens were in good shape and FAST
Average golf course- wouldn't pay over $40 to play here
Zero stars if possible
We didn’t get to play today. We booked our tee time on Tuesday for a Friday start. The parking lot was half full and they were out of golf carts!! At my age, I don’t walk mountain courses. Good luck.
Dont Play High Vista
While I had heard good things about the course, upkeep clearly had not been a priority for quite some time. There were bunkers without sand, cut grass still sitting on top of the rough, and the course layout itself had not been updated to match the scorecard.
hard to believe
I was a member here for five years and had not played it in 10 years. I couldn't believe the changes to the course. The back nine only had three holes that were the same. The changes made a hard course even harder. The 6th hole use to be the number one handicap hole and one of my favorites. It went from a really good par 4 to a shorten par 3 so they could sell off 5 lots for sell the rest of the original hole. It was sad to see that it is more about development of a neighborhood than the golf course.
potential
Cart paths were terrible. Course was in poor condition - Grass was long, fairways were long in places. greens were decent but that was it.
Could be much better
First the positives:
1. The view, really great location!
2. Fairway grass was good
3. Greens were good
Now the negatives:
1. Carts need replacing, bald tires, bd breaks, torn seats, generally bad but they were clean
2. Cart paths ... rough, broken pavement, holes, ..... just horrible
3. Tee boxes, not mowed or maintained well, hard to find in places
4. Finding the next hole location was bad in places, needs signage
5. Hole 6, changed to par 3 from par 4 and sign shows par 4 (and Garmin Golf)
6. Layout makes it difficult to know what pin you are hitting to on some holes.
Overall this could be a good course but it needs TLC and investment.
Issues
Very hilly mountain golf, and the cart paths need a lot of work.
Major complaint, there were NO hole to hole directional
sign anywhere on the course.
We came off #14, and it took a while to find our way to #15.
Beautiful Day
Great greens. Mouth dropping views. Tee boxes need work and most fairways pretty good. Course needs some TLC around the edges, great potential. Overall fun day.
Love this course
This course is challenging, especially the greens. The views are spectacular and the staff is so wonderful!
Needs Work
The setting is great. The staff was great. The greens were great. That's where it ends. From tee to green it is not in great condition. Some of the tee boxes had very little grass. The cart path was more dangerous to drive on than the rough. The bunkers have not been maintained in a long time. I wanted to rate this course higher, as the routing is great and the greens rolled very well, but the other conditions were a let-down.
Not great
First time playing this course. Has a ton of potential because the scenery and views are really pretty. Golf cart paths are terrible and on some holes the path just ends. Fairways were in decent shape but if you go in the rough at all good luck finding your ball. A few holes that you have to study the map to even find. Not worth the price in my opinion.
Teed off as the first group at 8:00am. Everyone was sent out on the back 9. Made the turn onto hole 1 to find a men’s league of 15 carts teeing off.
Our options were to wait behind the the group of 30 players, or leave without a refund. We left, won’t be giving them our business again.
Sprinklers were still running on the first 5 greens we played.
Absolute waste of money.
Pace is slow
This is a great mountain course. Some holes and tee boxes can be confusing. Be aware they allow fivesomes and they are everywhere.
