Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club

Course is in absolutely great condition. New carts are so efficient, automatic braking on down slopes, GPS screen, and just really smooth. Round took 3 hours, 2 groups let us play through . Residents seem nice. 2nd time golfing here Greens are very tricky, some challenging holes, and plenty of hills. Very friendly staff. Will definitely play again.

Cummings Cove has upgraded so many things like tee boxes, landscaping, turf and greens.

The course has some holes that are tricked up especially the back 9. The par 3’s are challenging. Scenery is good. Course is in rough condition. Some of the tee boxes are dried out and you couldn’t push a tee into the ground. Not having a decent driving range and/or putting green to warm up was disappointing.

Good value for the money. A lot of fun with all of the elevations.

The course overall was in great shape. The greens got punched out a couple weeks ago but recovering nicely and still rolled pretty good. Fairways are tight so got to place your shots and some nice risk reward hikes to challenge you. No fluff here just good golf. Going into fall season this should be on your bucket list. Just a reminder to guys playing a match with people behind you give up the 2 foot putts and move on.

The course was in good shape except for the aerated greens, which we did not know about. They rolled okay, but were very slow because of the sand and not being mowed. Other than that, we enjoyed the course very much.

Got behind a very slow foursome and it took 21/2 hours to play front nine. They quit after nine and it took 11/2 hours to play the back. No marshal was around to speed up play. It is a nice course but they need to work on speed of play. Greens are smooth and true.

Course is in really nice shape. The greens are perfect in condition, but surprising slower than I remember. Bunkers need some work on most holes. Fairways and tee boxes are fantastic. Some drainage work going on with #1, therefore tee moved up about 100 yards to the fairway. Hope the issue is resolved soon.

Staff inside was great (big improvement from what I remember prior to Helene).

Biggest complaint was pace of play. Front 9 was great. Followed a twosome who were playing quick and I almost never waited to hit. Played in 1.5 hours. However the twosome caught a foursome at the turn who never let them through. There were 3 or 4 open holes in front of them. I joined the twosome and we waited 5-10 minutes for every shot. The group was fishing balls out of creeks and the woods, No one was ready to hit. And treated every putt like it was for a major. Someone in a cart marked "starter" came around twice during the round but never stopped or spoke with anyone. Back 9 took 2.5 hours.

List price is too high for the value, but I may go back if I can find a decent golfnow rate.

Cummings Cove is an absolute gem of a golf course at the mountains. Fairways were pure, greens were outstanding and the staff at the pro shop very friendly. The golf course is characterized by some daunting tee shots. With the stunning views, it is a must play if you’re in the area.

It was our first time here. Staff was incredible and the course was in great shape. Not a long course…so smart play is key. Would highly recommend.

Carts should be better set up for having to reverse after GPS tells you you're in restricted area took way too long to back up 🦨🦨🦨👺 but the courses in excellent shape 🤸

Cummings Cove was hit hard by Hurricane Helene a couple of years ago. The staff and crew at Cummings has worked continuously at bringing the course back to exceptional conditions.

Greens were smooth and speed great. Fairways perfect.

Awesome restaurant. Food was great.

Makes the 90 minute well worth it.

This course has some really funky holes on front 9, that really challenge your creativity and skill. Be ready to play a lot of clubs in your bag. Enjoy the gorgeous views and great conditions.

I play Cummings Cove once a month and the Staff is excellent and the course keeps getting better and better!
