Jacaranda West Country Club

Hard to believe that they charge $130+ to play here and then $15 for a bucket of balls. Pelican point is 100 with free range balls. Then the club house closes at 5:30, so you cannot even clean up or use the washroom afterwords.

The course is older but still real decent. We really appreciated starter Gordy, who got our threesome out in time during an exceptionally busy day. It could’ve gone a different direction but Gordy took care of everything.

Didn’t know what to expect but after playing a course that was in terrible shape 2 days prior in the Orlando area. I really enjoyed this course. Drove down to meet 2 friends who drove from Naples and Cape Coral. Greens were probably sanded a day or two earlier but had no effect on our putting. Variety of tees to choose from. Only downside was the ranger stopped twice to tell us to pick up the pace. Our 4some played the front 9 in 2:08, and the entire round in 4:17. Not sure what they expected but we hade one player who just turned 80 the previous week who hadn’t played since June.

They added a 4th to our 3some at the first tee. Had no issue with that, however they let 2 2-somes play by themselves in the 2 groups behind us, not pairing them up! Of course that will slow things up a bit.

Course played fairly well in average conditions. Greens fast but a little bumpy. Overall good price value for a fun course to play.

Staff was pleasant and courteous... pace of play was better than average. Course condition and layout is average, at best. Fees, even with GN discount were expensive, but that is Spring golf in FL. Really bummed my 2 discount coupons on GN didn't work on this course for some reason. We'll likely play others before going g here again.

Second time playing here and it was enjoyable as the first. Great layout in very good shape with a helpful staff. Will play again in the near future.

I love that course. I couldn’t turn it down at the HOT DEAL price I got.

It is always a great time to play Jacaranda West. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was fantastic.

Always enjoy playing the course with very friendly staff. A little over priced for the quality but that is March in Venice.

Really enjoyed this course! It was in very nice condition and we did not wait once on a tee box. Played in 4 hours. Wish the carts had GPS as it would’ve really helped on some holes. Bunkers were a bit inconsistent, and we did not see a cart girl during the round. But all in all, I would strongly recommend it . The staff was very nice as well!

I am new to golf but my partner with whom I played the course has played Jacaranda West several times. He weighed in on the review and that is where the ratings derived from. I found the course, as a new golfer, very nice to play as the greens were easy to discern and the surroundings were very beautiful. I would definitely play there again.

Really enjoyed this course. Multiple tee boxes made it enjoyable for all levels of play. Enough of a challenge to make play exciting but not too challenging it messed with pace of play. Course was in very good condition…all tees, greens, fairways were grass covered and very well maintained. Course was a little pricey but it appears if you want a decent course that visitors can play in March in Southeast Florida that seems to be the going rate. Thought the ProShop did not realize ladies play golf too as selections were very minimal compared to large anount of men’s options.

Fairways not in good shape. Lay out just okay. Greens are in good shape. Water areas really sloppy. Sand traps also just okay. $65 dollars it’s okay but not $115 !!! No way.! Needs a major facelift.
