Venice East Golf Club

Having been physically unable to golf due to medical conditions for 7 months, this was a great location to try and get back on track. Even though there are only 4 par fours it was the perfect level of difficulty for somebody returning from injury. I will definitely play it again.

Poorly kept up and maintenance arerating a jam packed course.

Really love the huge stag horns by the 9th tee box.

Can’t say anything good about playing a course with terrible greens. Never again!

I booked this course for a Foursome on GolfNow.com - Me and my wife and two 17 year old girls. neither of which were going to play much. This was really me playing golf with my family. I did happily pay for all 4 though. The trouble started in the Pro Shop, they informed me I had to rent two sets of clubs, can't share, even though I told them they weren't going to be playing, just putting a few etc. Certainly we wouldnt be holding anyone up. I felt the gentleman at the counter wanted to do the right thing but couldnt because of the "rules". the GM came out and said she couldn't either because there are board members that would get mad. The fact that this course has any members is amazing to me. Its a Par 3 practice course at best, and its not in great condition. You have to hit your putter so hard to get through the high grass on the greens. Leave your driver at home...you won't need it here.

You will also be hitting into someone or dodging balls from others as there is no wiggle room at all.

Here's the thing...If you are really looking to play golf, go elsewhere. If youre just looking to hack around and dont really care...this place is for you!

The course was in good shape for no rain the course was busy but play moved along well

Overall layout is ok. Tee's and fairways are decent. Greens are very bad. Tiny push up greens that look more like your back yard than a golf green. EXTREMELY SLOW greens.

If you're looking for a quick round and you don't mind bad greens then this is a good place. Staff was great.

walked and played with wife, weather was perfect and course was fun, very small greens that provide lots of chipping chances.

Great course for beginners and a nice outing for more experienced players. Always enjoy being on a golf course and I don’t walk many but this one was an enjoyable walk.

better than going to the driving range , greens are slow

Friendly staff. Course was in horrible shape. The only thing worse is the course layout. I got hit by 1 ball and almost hit two other times. We payed for 18 and quit after 9. What a rip off!!!

Good for practicing your short game

I play V/E a couple times a month. I am a 10 Handicap & play here to dial in my short game. Greens are the size of most living rooms & tough to get on. I play with 6 clubs

& have a great round every time 👍🏾⛳️

The grass was pretty patchy and very dry. The greens were almost unplayable because of different levels of grass and weeds and dead areas. The holes are packed dangerously close together because of the size of the course. I was nearly struck by a shot hit over the fence of the driving range. The price was reasonable but all in all, I would not play the course again.

This is an average executive course. Perfect for beginners. Most days you can play 18 in 2.5 hours. Tee boxes are good, greens are slow but they do hold. The course is tight so you need to be aware of other golfers on several holes. There is a driving range next door with a practice chipping area. My wife and I play this course regularly and it is always an enjoyable day.

Only played due to price. Greens were mostly in poor shape with lots of dead spots. Fairways were cut extremely short and needed watered.
