About
Quail Creek Golf Club is tied for being the most difficult public course in the St. Louis area. Designed by Hale Irwin, the course is laid across rolling hills laced with meandering streams. The layout requires accuracy with narrow fairways and hard-to-read greens. Water hazards come into play frequently as do trees and bunkers. It is a formidable test for any skill level. Most of the holes have a risk-reward element, making the course more accessible by placing an emphasis on strategy over strength. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 ninth. It will favor golfers who successfully cut the corner, making it possible to reach the green in two. This tricky hole demands accurate mid-iron play. Quail Creek Golf Club finishes with an interesting par 4 that has water along the left side of both the fairway and green.

Getting a little rough out there
Lots of burned greens and concrete tee boxes. I am not expecting a whole lot at this price point but the course has taken a beating just over these last couple of weeks. Still super fun layout which has me coming back for more.
Surprised it has such a low rating
I think this course is beautiful for $25. Bring a lot of balls. The carts paths aren’t that bad, I have rode on worse. It was a good time!
It's a good course for what it is. Really tight fairways that punishes wild swings. Greens were in fair condition. Some burned spots but overall an enjoyable round of golf.
Bad value
Paradise valley is just as expensive and has a way better course and layout. No business I charging the amount they do for this course layout

the cart paths were in the worst condition in my 50 years of golf. several greens were in bad shape and the course is not maintaed. sad to see this situation.. it has been 20+years since last played. will not return
Looks good
Course in decent shape. Several improvements made to course in the way of using links like tall grasses and rough. A couple greens had brown patches, but otherwise the fairways, t box, and greens were in good shap. I have always liked the lay out

We played early and got done in 4 hrs place was nice a good day.

We were looking for an early t time and Golf Now really helped. Staff nice we actually got off about 20 min early, A good value.

Course is in good condition with the recent excessive heat. Good staff good course highly recommend.
Hit a good drive
It's a tad long for Seniors but if you move up it can be a fun course. As always try to hit it straight.

This is an average course, fairways could use a little more TLC. Greens are in decent shape.
