Saturday golf
Pace of play was ridiculous, 3.5 groups waited on the 10th hole for 30+ minutes. The majority of the holes need to be moved, Edges were falling in the cup, lots of lip outs by the entire group throughout the day. Had to deal with the sunflower seeds from a group in front of us, so digesting and disrespectful.
Great shape
Course is in good shape for this time of year. Greens a little slower than normal.
3 holes one fairway
Clubhouse was nice and staff was very friendly. Course was also in good condition considering it’s a municipal course. The issues we had was with the layout of the course. It is very confusing to find some holes. The course is also extremely crammed, it feels like they shoved 18 holes into a 9 hole course. You are on top of one another and it is extremely easy to play to the wrong greens as they are poorly mapped and so close together. Our group was hit 3 times from tee shots from other holes.
There are 3 holes on this course that legitimately share the same fairway… this creates a massive issue as shots are hit directly into your line causing a delay in pace. We were stopped at one hole for over 15mins due to a group on the adjacent hole playing into our side of the fairway.
It was a decent course but the headache of the layout made it a one and done for me.
Fun track
Good course for the money. Some interesting holes. Some fairways are very close to each other so stay aware! In good shape.
No waiting!
We teed off at the perfect time, 12:15. We were early and the starter let us go off because we were ready. Finished 18 holes in 3:10. Course is in good shape. If you stay in the fairway, no problems (who doesn't know that?). We did not wait on any hole!
The greens have just about settled in from the aeration of a little over a month ago.
Good course, enjoyed the round!
Beautiful clubhouse. Course condition was fine but some of the holes are right on top of eachother. We actually shot at the wrong green at one point. Perhaps some better imaging for the hole layout.
Sometimes golf is golf
No complaints here. It was early in the season and it was plenty playable. Will definitely come back just off the price alone.
Real slow play
Went to tee 20 minutes early
Group on tee asked if you are a single you can go ahead..
I said no I have a three some but rest of the group will be shortly.
I was amazed that the group of six did not tee off as 2 threesomes- or 4 and 2 but as a sixsome.
Playing the front in 2 1/2 hours.
I went inside at the turn and asked what is the policy for sixsomes? The manager apologized and told them to allow us to play thru!
They did step aside on 2nd tee box average o”age of 30-45 years old. They then resumed play as a sixsome. On fourth hole manager came by asked if the the group allowed for us to play thru and how many holes were we playing behind them? I said since the hole number one.
I said and they did not break up they still played as six . He apologized and said I told them they could continue as six as long as they allow others to play thru? He also had a beer ready for us!
Saturday I went to Spencer T Olin there is sign on all entrances to proshop and bar!
We never allow any more than 4 players per hole .if you play more than 4 you will be asked to leave immediately and no refunds!
Great staff, course … well
Nice people at the clubhouse and restaurant - super nice and welcoming. The weather was nice and the course is coming along for this time of year. Many holes crisscrossed or out and back. They won’t be hosting a US Open anytime soon but nice folks, fair layout and a good price.
