About Baton RougeIf it’s football season, head over to the LSU Tiger Stadium to watch a football game; their stadium won’t disappoint. There have been some renovations since it opened back in 1924, but now that the stadium can hold over 102,000 people, LSU Tiger Stadium is now the ninth largest stadium in the world.
If you’ve got a hankering for some delicious BBQ, check out City Pork. The delicious smell wafting throughout the restaurant doesn’t help when you’re standing in line, but it’s worth the wait. They have a deli counter as well, so if you’re looking to bring home some of those delicious meats and cheeses, you’re in luck.
Beaver Creek is one of Louisiana’s best golf courses. With a practice putting green, chipping area, and driving range, Beaver Creek has all the tools to sharpen your skills and make each day on the course a great one. With twilight rates starting around 3 pm, you’ll be sure to get in 18 holes at a great rate every time you’re out there.
Santa Maria Golf Course is another gem home to Baton Rouge. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., this course has 18 different lakes and two natural waterways. Santa Maria Golf Course should keep you on your toes all day long, constantly reminding you to hit the ball straight!
