Indian mound course
Fairways, bunkers were excellent condition. However most tee boxes and just about all greens were in horrendous conditions. Not worth the price to play in my opinion but the staff was excellent and very nice. Wish someone form the clubhouse would have warned me about the greens before we got out there but it is what it is.
Good bones, lack of maintenace
The greens were in horrible shape, but everything else was worth the money. Don’t know how that’s possible. Starter was also very rude for no reason.
Course review
Great staff and it's a good course. I feel that it's a bit overpriced considering the course conditions. Overall, it's a nice course and I would play it again if im ever around the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to play.
Poooor greens
Even at a reduced rate l didn't think the course was worth what l paid.
Ying and Yang
Course location was great, course looks nice, until. Tees and greens need a LOT of help. If you like bumpy putting, this is the course for you. Doubt we will go back.
Nostalgic
Hadn’t played here since before the Pandemic & it brought back memories. It was in great shape and the greens were nearly perfect!
Greens really bad
Pine Lakes was so nice Indian Mounds was a disappointment. Greens were really bad. Hopefully these will be replaced when Grand Dunes opens.
Course is not appropriate for play
Greens are horrible. I failed to look at reviews prior to booking and showing up. What mistake. Greens are not playable. Weeds all through greens.
How could the employees not mention to costumers that booked this course?. Worst greens I have ever played.
Looked at other course on the site while playing. They were playable. Next day I went to a different area to play because my respect for the workers at the facility is disappointing for not pointing out the conditions.
Horrible Greens
This course should not be open for public play at this time. The greens are horrible. I can’t believe nobody mentioned how bad it was in the clubhouse.
Pine lakes
Played pine lakes. Was in good shape. Some fairways a bit thin. Very very hot day and little water on course Overall, the re-do of pine lakes was nice. Pretty good shape, some bunkers were hard though.
Very Neglected
I haven't played this course in quite some time. The greens and bunkers were in very poor condition. It seems like Indian Mound has been neglected with the recent renovations to Pine Lakes and the revamp underway with Oleander. I hope they show some love to this course soon. It was not worth the price I paid to play it in its current state
Play pine lakes instead
This course is in terrible shape. The greens are horrible for the money not even close to worth it. Just play Pine Lakes if you’re in Jekyll Island.
Some of the worst greens I've seen
Greens are REALLY bad.... most had dead spots everywhere. They positioned the holes away from them, but still had to putt over the bad parts some times....
