Course in horrible shape
The fairways were a mess and muddy. Green were full of divots;....is there a new rule about not having to fix divots during Covid-19??????? No rakes for traps. Was very displeased with the shape this course is in!
Frost Delay
Frost delayed. Could not play. Have not gotten a refund.
Nice weather
The fairways were absolutely soaking wet. The greens didn’t look great, but were fast & very true. My problem was with the price of the green fee. We payed $58 & that was supposed to be a hot deal, plus the price of range balls & the Jekyll toll fee, makes in a expensive day.
Wrong day
They booked my tee time for the wrong day and refused to accommodate. Rude lady on phone.
great lay-out
although the starter felt that this was the 3rd course of their 3 course lay-out, we found it to be the absolute best lay-out of all....great day on a very nice track!! we will return SOON!!
First time on Jekyll Island
Tee boxes were in terrible shape. Cart attempted to shut down and tell me I was not on the cart path when on it the whole time. Guess I expected more from a resort island course. When you pay 56 dollars a person to play golf, 8 dollars to get on the island and are told it is the most challenging course I guess I just expected more.
Good value
Cart path only day but course was in good shape overall.
This course was plain muddy.
The course was very nice but soaked. I wouldn't have played had i known this beforehand.
Fun but far from impressive
The staff could honestly care less if golfers show up or not. Seemed more interested in ESPN replays than assisting customers. Carts are very nice and cart paths are excellent. The course itself was in decent shape, but not what they should be. The greens are okay. The weather was perfect and the Live Oaks are always beautiful.
Bad shape
Have played this course in past hrs but was truly disappointed the shape it is in. Sorry I paid to play it
