Jekyll Island

None of the Jekyll Island courses have completely recovered from Irma damage, but the damage is most visible on this course. The layout is nothing outstanding, with a few interesting holes. Lot of doglegs and a fair amount of water on the course.

Of the 3 Jekyll Island courses, I thought this one was in the best shape. None have completely recovered from Irma damage, but the fairways seemed better on this course and the greens were the fastest of the 3 sets. The layout is nothing outstanding, we a few interesting holes. But by and large the fairways were wide and the greens relatively straight forward.

The course was in awesome shape and played very, very fair.

I have played at many of the St Simons Island area courses but never on Jekyll until playing Pine Lakes. I was very impressed with the course conditions and the greens. The thick Bermuda was a challenge if you missed the fairway or green. Greens were rolling beautifully. I also played Indian Mounds the day before and Pine Lakes has a better layout plus Indian Mounds was still recovering from aeration. I saw over 20 deer and other wildlife throughout the course which was amazing. Staff in the Pro Shop were very friendly and I had a club sandwich in the grill area which was great. I was pleasantly surprised and will visit again!

The only thing My son and I didn't like we look to be almost 2 holes ahead of the next group and twice we look back and out of no where it had someone behind us .

Terrific setting for golf, and the course was in great shape

Lovely course with plenty of nature. The grass just off the fairways was too long, struggled to find balls at times.

Can't beat their HOT DEALS In Southern Coastal GA we have many fine golf courses and it is so easy at anytime to get online and get a Great Deal. I have played most of these courses and you can't beat this

Bought this on a hot deal. A great buy!! After a foursome let us play through we never saw anyone.

Love the layout play from the white tees. The only thing I got rained out after the 10th hole. I hope to finish before I go back home but the staff said the rain out pass was good for a year. The staff was GREAT!!!!!!

This course would have been very nice had the conditions been better. The greens were very fuzzy, causing them to be slow. A couple holes had severe damage to the greens. Most tee boxes were un mown, which isn't a huge deal, but it isn't how it is supposed to be. There was no one playing on Memorial Day, so we flew around without hitch, which made the course more enjoyable. Jekyll Island is a gorgeous place and they have a gold mine if they put more money towards the conditioning the courses. Overall, it's not bad golf for $20 bucks. I wouldn't pay much more for it.

Played this course (Oleander) for the first time in 5 years. I usually play the other two JI courses because they are in better shape. Oleander had become tired and seemed to be the less manicured and cared for. It was a soggy mess even on days when it hadn't rained recently.

I was pleasantly surprised that the conditions were very good. Greens a bit worn but very playable. Layout is very challenging from the blue tees. Some long par 4s and 3s. Par 5s can be reachable. Good track and I hope they keep it maintained. Fun to play.

Course is challenging but not difficult if you stay out of the rough and the woods. Fairway condition was a bit above average. About half the greens had dirt spots and seemed to be dead or dying in places.

This a great layout the front nine is more difficult than the back, very few straight holes, always a dogleg. will play it again soon, the other Jeykl courses are good also, they seem to be taking care of them better.

Pace of play was perfect. Weather was perfect. Course was in the best shape I have seen it in a long time.

This was the second time in 3 weeks that my fiancé and I drove 1.5 hours to golf Jekyll Island. Staff is super friendly and courses are in great condition. There were a few greens that need some work but it didn't affect the way they played. No over crowding or waiting for groups in front of us. We played Indian Mound this visit and the Pine Lakes the last. Will definitely be back again for a great round of golf.
