Value for the$
Played golf with 11 yo soon. Extra tees for youth are great.
Sinkeli pelaaaja paskana draivi päivänä
Kenttä kaunis, ja greenit hienossa kunnossa, GF n18euroa sis auton. Mutta kenttä oli tosi märkä ja mutainen. Mutta silti maksetun arvoinen
Wet w/ 0% chance of rain
We played Oleander and Pine Lakes yesterday. Was surprised to hear the cart staff mention one of the courses they just started allowing 90 degree rule that day, but when we started playing we understood. Not one tee box or fairway, much less rough, has been cut in several days. grass was covered 3/4 of the ball in the middle of the fairway. The worst part to me was when I called in about a week before making our tee times the staff mentioned how great of shape the courses were in. But the most confusing part is I live about 30 mins south of the course and we haven't had hardly any rain lately, so I got home and looked it up...1.35 inches on the last 30 days.

A Beauty on Jekyll Island
It's easy to see why so many folks choose Jekyll for a golf vacation getaway. With the three courses together on the island, you can almost always find a tee time. We were on Pine Lakes this time. The only negative was that due to rains it was cart path only and the fairways were a bit thick. Otherwise, it was an excellent round of golf on a beautiful December day!
Terrible
Fairway grass is as tall as my grass in my yard. Would not recommend this course to anyone.
Christmas Golf
Great Course!!!! I have played it a few times but considering the weather it was in great shape. Early fog delayed a little but that is not the courses fault. Great time playing with family.
Enjoyable course!
Great shape course with generous fairways and some beautiful views.
Pleasureable stroll in the grass
Playing for the 1st time here, I was not disappointed by the good conditions and non-existant crowds. I saw nobody the whole round and played 18 in less than 3 hours. The greens are all wonderful, the fairways in good shape but be ready to yield to deer and geese as they do not move when you approach them. Overall the course was a pleasure to play and the layout is just challenging enough to spark my return interest. Though basically flat terrain, the undulations on and around the greens make it challenging to put your shot where you want it. Otherwise, it was fun no matter what.
Good Course Very Slow Play
This is a good course with some of the rudest, slowest, and inconsiderate players I have ever experienced. We followed a twosome and a foursome for 16 holes with 6 groups held up behind us. The foursome would not let anyone play through and the twosome in front of us literally drove their cart three feet from the green. There were no rangers on the course and those that we reported this to, were unresponsive. BTW the twosome with the cart should not have been on the course anyway, as there was a cart path only rule that day because of recent over seeding. I believe this is a great course with wonderful holes, but the people ruined it for at least 25 people that had to follow this "privileged foursome".
Thanksgiving golf
Good course and well maintained. Staff was friendly and it all made for a good morning of golf.
Review of Indian Mound- nice course
The pro sent me to Indian Mound instead of Oleander. I enjoyed the layout- didn't see any Indian Mounds but lots of deer. At 6450 yards from the back tees it played longer than the card as the fairways did not have much roll. The grass appeared to be old school Bermuda. Decent variety of holes and plenty of room to hit off the tee. The course is surrounded by nature and reflects well on the tidewater experience. I enjoyed my late afternoon round and played 18 holes in under 2 hours.
GREAT DAY FOR GOLF
GREAT DAY FOR GOLF. NICE COURSE FUN TO PLAY. COURSE IN GOOD SHAPE, SCENERY WAS GREAT
Great fun and beautiful scenery!
Course is in good shape and good pace. Challenging to say the least on the front 9 but could be my fault. Always fun to go to Jekyll.
Great location but failed to mow
On big surprise was the $6 entry to the island fee. A great concept if you stay the whole day as it pays formal the parking. I was there for golf and it is a pretty site with multiple courses. I played Indian mound and the layout was great . If you play blues the length works well and is a challenge. What was very odd was the hairy greens and the fairways. You get no roll at all and you need to pound the putts home. Im not certain why this was the case or that it is a normal condition. I will return as the layout was fun and there is no way the members allow all that hair.
Great natural setting wit no homes
Pine Lakes and Indian Mound at Jekyll Island well kept from tee to green. Great value. A must play along the Georgia coast.
Great Layout
My wife and I had an 8:08 tee time. Starter put us off the back side. When we made the turn we ran into three groups on #1. Unwilling to suffer the delays we decided to quit after 9 holes. We loved the layout and would suggest you play after split tee times end.
Pace of play
This is a great course that I enjoy playing very much. There are 3 courses from one clubhouse and each play differently. I was disappointed, however, that the management chose not only to start players on hole #1 but also #10. This slowed play down quite a bit because we had to wait to start back nine. That should have been communicated by the staff in the clubhouse.
oleander
Oleander is a nice old time course. No houses within the confines of the golf course.Greens a bit tatchy and needed to b. Verticut. Delightful layout. Sand traps could use new sand but again a fun golf experience.
Just wonderful
Can't say enough about the staff. They were extremely accomodating and friendly. We chose not to bring our clubs with us on vacation and they set us up with great clubs at a very reasonable price. We will certainly play there on our next trip.
