Nice Layout
This is a challenging course, it was in good condition .
This pace of play was right at 4 hours.
Poor Condition, Awful Pace of PLay
Disappointed with this course, except for the two retired gentlemen I was paired with. They are members and made me feel welcome and apologized for course conditions and extremely slow pace.
Fun Day
I played was Oleander.
The landscape and fairways were very nice but once you got onto the greens they were a-bit ragged with large areas of only dirt without any grass, or weeds growing where when you put the ball bounces or moves from the line adding strokes too your score.
Poor course conditions
The course was not in good shape. The greens had bare spots and one even looked like a sand trap. Crab grass was all over the place and not mowed. If the course was kept up it would be worth the rate. There were two groups of 6 playing in front of us and that slowed us up horribly.
Oleander, not worth the rate.
I have played many golf courses and this is the first one that I have ever seen a sand trap on a green. Most of the greens were in terrible condition. Crab grass growing wild all over. I would rate this course as a $30.00 per round in its current condition. Definitely not worth the drive from Savannah,GA to play.
Course is good
Course is good. Staff is good. Pace of play was good. Just don’t forget you have to pay $10 to get on the island.
Long round of golf
The course is challenging with a neat layout. The issue is they had the course set to cart path only due to being wet, and it caused a very slow pace of play. The fairways were more than dry enough for 90degree only. The greens were also eat up with goose grass and very slow. Could be a super fun course with a little better course management
Love Playing Jekyll
The Jekyll Courses are fun and well kept up. The one downside is that there is not enough on course water and it gets easily into the triple digits with heat index June, July and August. Edwin Watts! Sponsor large coolers of ice-water on at least every other hole.
3 Handicap Family Vacation Review
Course layout was really awesome. Haven’t played here in about 5 years. Short course - so birdies are out there. Some holes can be pretty tight for driver.
There is a lot of Risk/Reward off the tee.
Definitely a very fun course if solo or with a group. Great “gambling” course because there are so many short and narrow holes. Most of the course’s length is in the Par 5’s.
Only complaint was the greens were rolling about a 5-6 in June. If the greens were to be rolling fast - place would be immaculate for tournament play.
Will definitely come back to play here - especially with a group. Fun track!
Great experience.
Great round with my best friend.
Nice course and even nicer staff.
Oleander Course
Excellent staff, course was in great shape. We had to make sure we followed GPS in the cart and cart paths because there were no tee box numbers to let you know you were on the right tee. But we got it figured out quickly and truly enjoyed our round. FAST greens
Poor Course Condition
Some greens are being lost. Multiple weed variations in greens. Bare hard pan places on fairway
