Ka'anapali Golf Resorts (Maui)

The Royal Course was difficult for the first time being played. Course conditions by Hawaii standards were average and the layout was the same. It was fun to play however compared to Wailea or Kapalua it doesn't come close in my opinion.

Good course in good shape but overpriced because it is in maui. Like to see some golf packages such as $100 a round for booking 3 rounds or more

Course is in excellent shape, greens were slick and in near perfect condition. Enjoyed the layout.

The veiws are stunning and the greens are the fastest we played on Maui.The only drawback when we played the wind was about 27 mph in the morning or we would have had an even better time.

Easy to book, rent clubs and buy all accessories for a nice round of golf at this course.

The course is amazing and can see why it’s consistently rated one of the best in Maui. The driving range is an absolute joke and makes you feel like you’re playing at some low budget municipal course. For a Troon golf course and the amount you have to pay, you expect high end course AND facilities. It really dampens the whole experience. For the money I’d likely go someplace else.

Playing Royal first was a good idea, as I knew immediately hi course is a distant second. Unfortunately the way I played it was about 40 mile an hour winds, which made every club swing a bit of a guessing game. But my wife and I both enjoyed it and look forward to coming back again

Golf cart wouldnt get up the hills on back 9 - had to push it Cart GPS had no button to call clubhouse for assistance. For the price paid, this shouldnt have happened. No bevwrage cart out and it was an extremely hot datly. Pro shop staff could be much more personable.

Great course, forgiving fairways which is great for a relaxing vacation round. Greens were in perfect condition, super fast! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely play again

Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Play a little slow but we’re on vacation and not in a hurry. Great time playing again tomorrow

For the price from where we live it is overpriced. The course was good but it would have been nice to see the cart person sooner. The pace of play was okay till the threesome in front of us joined the threesome in front of them, then it was really slow.

Great course shot a 4 over with rental clubs. So fun

For the cost of green fees the course did not give me a big “WOW”.

It was in good condition and straight forward but I have played other courses that were better for less.

I would have a difficult time justifying paying the price again.

I suppose reputation has a lot to do with it
