Nice Interesting Course - But Challenging
Good variety of holes and challenges. In good shape, and pace of play was okay, not great. As long as you play the correct tees for your game, you will enjoy the course. Otherwise it will be challenging. I’d play it again!
Nice Course But Challenging!
This course provides interesting holes that are challenging from any tee box. Golfers need to be accurate with their shots. Greens could be a problem if you can’t stop your approach shots. In good condition! I’d play it again when back in MB.
Playing early will not get you a fast round
Overall Heathland is decent. However expect a 5 hour round in the morning. The Legends courses sends people off both the front and back nines to start the day. While I don’t like starting on 10 without being notified that’s going to happen before showing up I don’t begrudge a course for making more the times available early when I’d going to be in the 90s by noon.
What is a problem is that Legends doesn’t circle off all the morning tee times before throwing more players on the course. They tell you the pace of play is 2 hours 10 minutes for 9, but they don’t say that if you finish under that time you are going to sit and wait for new groups to start the course at the turn. My four some played 10-18 in 1 hour 45 minutes and then had to sit and wait 25 minutes while watching groups we had never seen before tee off on hole 1. Having the club force their greed upon you is not cool at all.
If I pay $120 for a 7:30 tee time I expect to be done before noon at WORST if not by 11:30. The round included two 12oz tap beers and lunch. I had to skip lunch because of the almost 5 hour round. I’ll never come back here. There are far too many golf choices in Myrtle to disrespect players like this.
Hurry up and wait
Awful rangers rush you on the first nine with nobody behind you only to run into a logjam at the turn because they double tee. $110+ in May is laughable.
Quiet on the moor
It was surprisingly not very crowded the day I played but still managed to get behind a very slow twosome The course was an excellent shape. The greens rolled well and the fairways we're well tended. There was no beverage cart on a Sunday. I was charged twenty five dollars to have my wife ride in the cart with her broken leg. I was paired up with a very nice local gentleman helped me with aiming points, as it was several years since my last visit. We played as a twosome. Remember to use Hot Deals or coupons, these courses have gotten expensive.
Nice property, nice amenities, new carts, course was in good shape but greens a little slow. Slightly over priced in my opinion but really enjoyed the course and layout. Super playable and had a blast. Would recommend!
Challenging and Really Fun
Quite expensive for a round, extremely challenging course and really fun. Good off course amenities, slow pace of play
THe course is bad
I'm very disapoint, the curse is a bad shape time to play 5 hours 20 minutes
we start whit a delay because no cart available
It's not a good choice for Golfpass
Thank's
Slow pace of play
Interesting layout, conditions just ok. Slow pace of play. Got a hot deal, but still not worth it.
Canuck Thumbs Up
Parkland was the last course we played and for the mid-tier price, by far the best for this time of year. Other courses we played below or slightly below the Parkland greens fees were in very rough condition (uncut tee blocks, sandy greens, unkept bunkers), but Parkland had all that covered. Overall very happy with the value.
Golfing for joy
Not my first choice, there are better facilities for the money. Waited too long to get bags on cart, it was chaotic. Tee times were not respected; we had 3 groups ahead of us that had later tee-times. Probably better later in the season.
One of the better ones
Playing at the Legends complex is one of the top-notch places to play in Myrtle Beach
Not great!
Started with organized chaos, to rushing to first tee to not enabling use of carts on what appeared to be dry fairway conditions. Not as relaxing an experience as desired.
Good challenge need some amenities
The course layout it's self was a good challenge, getter a tremendous amount of play, conditions were good but greens were fair due to over play. Could put more signage on course. Lack of ball washers and water on the course.
