Absolutely stunning Course. Lot of up and downs but that was not a bad thing just a challenging one
Unorganized Kaos
The check in at bag drop was like a frat party.
No organization whatsoever. Potential golfers Waiting on carts to be brought up to service 3 courses. 5 hours and 15 minutes to play 17 holes before succumbing to daylight. No marshals. Attendants working off of hand written clip boards. Horrible organizational skills.
Parkland course was good but hard to enjoy at a pathetic pace.
Great course
Course was pretty great, conditions were good. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the golf carts and hitting mats at range. Carts were in BAD shape, torn seat, had to pump the gas to get it going, steering wheel was sideways to go straight, and little brakes. Course brings in more than enough cash flow to have carts like this. Almost brings down the experience of playing these beautiful courses. This course is my least favorite out of the three, but just because there are a lot of houses and apartments off the course.
Terrible service from start to finish
This was the worst experience at a golf club we’ve ever had. We booked a last minute deal through Golf Now and were so excited to check it out. We came down to golf from Michigan for our wedding anniversary. From the Proshop when we checked in the golf pro was rude when we simply asked if they had any ball markers. Then the snack shop girls told us we could get a 6 pack of beer because the carts had coolers in them. We get to our “assigned” golf cart and it’s the only one without a cooler: when we asked for a new cart or even just a cooler we were told no, even though there 20 carts not being used with coolers in them. The starter who we gave our ticket too at the bag drop was really rude. We asked him if he needed our ticket and we pulled it out to show him and he said…”I can see the ticket - what does it say? Then we tried to make a good time for ourselves after all the rude employees we encountered so far. We played a nice first 9 holes and we finished in under 2 hours. When we made the turn, there was a large group waiting to play together and they knew they were not good. They offered for our 3-some to play through and the starter told us no. We than waited 20 minutes on every hole in the back 9, and couldn’t even finish the round. From start to finish, this was the worst experience at a golf club we’ve ever had and will continue to provide bad reviews and tell people to never waste there money at a place that treats people so poorly. It seems because we got a “deal” on our tee time price we were not treated the same as anyone else there.
Ledgends- Heathrow
Outside staff was great, not so much in theproshop
Overpriced items in shop. Very poor restaurant. Maybe because we were a 4some of women from FL.
Homes, homes, homes
Tee to green, generally in good shape. Greens were firm and fast. They would hold iron shots but pitches and chips ran forever. Ball also ways seemed to sink down in the fairway grass even though it was clipped right. Rough was deep and penal in spots. Just too many homes on the course. Many have been added in the last 10 years. Takes away from the character of a once great layout.
greens ???
legends is a quality destination. fairways would be excellent if people knew what the bottles of sand were for. Moorlands has plenty of moguls and some hidden sand traps; the only negative thing about this facility is the greens. they appear mottled with different types of grass and some putts are not true. Its the type of course when you were playing it for the first time you are thinking that you would play that hole differently next time.
Meh
The greens were sanded over which is ok this time of year but the greens themselves were in awful shape. They appeared to be diseased with patchy spots all over them. Not good for a resort course, the carts were in very poor shape for both rounds I played so not a once off
It was a horrible experience because they did not have my tea time through golf now and I had to pay twice in order to play. I am still waiting from a refund from golf now.
Slow place
Course is fun putting greens on parkland needs attention .
Slow and bad greens
Greens were slow and scalped in many areas. Pace of play was terrible. Over 3 hour back 9. I was playing as a single and was able to play the front 9 in an hour and a half.
beautiful course
This course stood out for its good condition and beauty. Pace of play was very slow, however. I would return, definitely, but not play on Saturday afternoon.
