Legends Golf Resort

T-storms in the area day of play. Hit hole number 3 and the skies open up. Next several holes had standing water tee to green. By the time we made the turn the standing water was clearing.

I believe this would be a fun track in optimal conditions. A 250 yard Par 3 and 280ish Par 4 - why not!!

Club house is great with reasonable pricing and good food.

My 20 year says dad next year we should book the legends for our next golf outing

To start with, I was supposed to play Healthland but after finding out that the WHOLE course was aerated, I asked to be put on another course, which they were able to accommodate, so that was a good thing. It was slooooow out there, and I only teed off at 9, so it's not like I was going out at 11.

The gentleman at the Moorland/Healthland bag drop is just as unfriendly as can be. Someone needs to give that guy some customer-service advice. Everyone else seemed to be very customer friendly, so he is the sole reason why 'Staff Friendliness" above received 4 stars instead of 5.

Greens were a little bumpy but not unmanageable. Even though I said I would recommend, there was no 'Maybe' selection, I really am on the fence as to whether I would recommend or not.

Booked tee time to take a valued customer out for a day of golf. At NO TIME did anyone mention that the greens had recently been aerated. Greens were bumpy, hairy and extremely slow. for $90 per person, the course wasnt worth the $$ asked to play it.

I've played this course in the past and had nothing but a positive experience. Wow--how things have changed! Not sure I'll be back with all of the other Myrtle Beach Golf options available.

The man in the pro shop creating the rain checks for the rain that day was horribly rude. I did nothing to provoke him and he was rude and I will never go back there because of him. I am sure I won’t be missed but a paying customer deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.

Fun, Great Layout, but Challenging, visible and hidden water all over the course. Greens are decently fast too. Looking forward to playing this course again now that I know where not to hit:)

Greens were covered in sand. i had telephoned as well to make sure no green maintenance was being done. not impressed.

I Don't know how this course charges what it does. It is a tourist trap. They schedule all ciourses at same time. We were delayed 45 minutes teeing off and then suffered a slow, slow pace.

The Heath lands course was OK for 9 holes. We were rained out after 9 holes; I considered the rain out a good deal since they are over priced...

You arrive , drop off clubs and wait in crowded area. Have to remind them to load your clubs 10 minutes before tee time. They will not do it any earlier and you have to chase them down to do it at 10 minutes. No mention of practice green, no real course info given. They sent us to first tee and they starter there just said have a nice round and rode off. Round (mid week at noon) took 5:50. No ranger in sight the whole day. Had drink and lunch tickets - was told can use them after round. Snack bar and inside bar closed at 5:00 and they just said guess you are out of luck.

This can be a frustrating course to play. We had quite a few blind shots and tons of trouble can be found. It is one you will probably play much better the second time after knowing where to hit certain shots. The greens were fast but didn’t look all that great and fairways and tees were sparse. It takes a while to play here with all the blind shots 5:30 was our time waiting a decent amount on front 9. It is very difficult track at 135 slope from the whites, 15handicap. The 25-30mph winds put it over the top. We got hit into once, that ended after a not so friendly conversation, wasn’t my intention. Bring your A game and expect a higher than usual score. I would play early in the week when rates are more reasonable. It is hard to find a deal anymore in Myrtle. Played heathland last year conditions were similar, a bit more playable (131 slope whites) for the mid-handicap player but still a challenge.

Geeens were freshly sanded, no warning, still full price. Charge for range balls. The cart we were given was beat to heck. Seats missing chunks, big delay when pressing the pedal( I thought a few times it was dead) there is BT and speakers on the cart, but it didn’t work. Layout was pretty good and seems like a challenging course. The other courses there were in better shape, but it feels like an amusement park jamming players through as fast as possible with little concern for value. Will not return.

Very average course and way over priced. It was a five hour round with no ranger in sight to monitor pace of play. There are many other courses to choose from in the area. Don't waste your money.

The course was in great shape. The team at the legends did a great job of managing the pace of play. Can’t wait to get back to play it again

Joined with a friendly player from VA. Showed me around, zero directional signage. Massive complex. Good conditions, greens smooth. Kid in pro shop a dick when I asked if had rain pants. Confusing getting groups going outside. Pricey, call directly to book if they answer. Many different rates. Prob look elsewhere next time visiting area.
