Afternoon at the Parklands
A Little chilly but not to bad. The staff was very friendly and playing as a single they got me with a group of locals that play the course often. Course was in great shape and really fun to play. The only downside was the slow group in front of us. Usually don't care but it was getting dark with several holes to go and we just had enough light to finish 18. Would play again.
Legends-Moreland
This course was not worth playing, especially if you are not a long ball hitter. There were way too many blind shots and elevated greens with huge drop offs. There were a number of greens that were ridiculous to putt I would not recommend this course to anyone.
Good course, tricky greens, huge waste @ bunker areas.
Slow play due to following 4 groups (league play)?
Played 18th in dark just to get the round in,
Cart paths need work, pot holes, chunks of asphalt broken & missing.
stay alert, execute shots
GOd course, challenging, makes you study your shot as to the subtle demands of terrain.
Fun to play.
Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. No marshal involvement or monitoring.
Slow slow slow
Quality Golf requires steady golf. No waiting. We waited every tee box. Not fun. Management pushes maximum foursomes onto course. Ruins pace of play to get more green fees. Will never go back.
Moorlands
Incredible slow play because of tee times eight minute separation. We waited at EVERY TEE BOX. Starts backing up at second tee box. Never get an afternoon tee time. We started at 1332. Finished at 1815 in the dusk. Conditions were ok. A bit wet in many places.
Beautiful layout. Scenic. Nice greens. Challenging. But VERY SLOW.
Insanely slow
5 hours and 45 minutes. 1:08 tee time and barely finished before sundown. We like the course and layout, but the slow play takes all the enjoyment out of it. Every. Single. Shot waiting. 4 groups on a par 3. Absolutely ridiculous. Not a marshall in sight. 8 minutes between tee times. Played with a resident. They pay 1/4 (!!!) the price out-of-towners. Not sure we'll be back next year - not worth the aggravation.
Range ball should be included in the green fee
You have pay 5.00 for a small bucket of range ball
Nice Course
It was crazy busy at the bag drop so we were a bit nervous but ended up being a nice round (4.5 hours, which was fine). Nice for ladies too.
Plan for a 5 1/2 hour round
The course is nice enough but I have never in my life seen a golf course cram as many players as they possibly can with having players tee off on both the 1st and 10th tees. To say those took away from our overall experience would be an understatement. Sad really.
