Great tip
Great tip ,didn't know about reaching under, to get some shoulder tilt as well help to hit up on the ball
Although I don't typically have issues with lining up with the driver, it's not always 100% consistent. This is a great way to make sure the alignment is the same every time. Also, by reaching under, you tilt back as you should with a driver. Thanks for making it consistent.
Hi Erika,
Great explanation and demonstration. I utilized this "step out and reach under" with my current student yesterday and she was so excited to see amazing results right away. It took the guess work out of how much tilt was needed. Thank you
David
Erika, That's a great tip that visually was helpful and gave me a better understanding of a simple setup for the driver. I hit my irons pretty consistently but the driver has always been a bit of a struggle. I believe this tip may be the one that makes the difference.
Erika,
Thanks for the 2-Step Driver Setup! I had been struggling with slicing (something new to me) my driver, however I saw an instructor that has helped me get rid of it. Hopefully this 2-step setup technique will benefit me as well. Thx!!
Great keep us posted !
Martin,
Can the same swing speed considerations apply to the driver for slow-swingers? I see many advertisements for "hybrid drivers" which are targeted at "older" golfers with less flexibility/speed.
Thank you for your always excellent golf insights.
Erika - thank you for the really sensible and easy-to-follow set up tips. I love the "step-back"! And as soon as the snow melts on our driving range I will try it!
Awesome !!! Thanks
Great driver setup tips! What is your recommended ball height on the tee?
I like the equator of the ball equal to the crown of the Driver head !
Excellent, thanks.
Thanks!
