Beginner here….Is the amount of backswing and follow through changing from 30-40-50 ( I use a clock for reference) so for example 30 yd shot is 8 and 4 o’clock then 40 is 9 and 3 oclock and 50 is 10 and 2 o’clock or is it just the amount you are turning your body?

Tony, Thanks for your tip on these pitch shots. My question has to do with rollout and how to account for that. For example, if the flag is 50 yards from your position and in the middle of the green on a pretty flat green, should you play for a 40 yard pitch shot?
