excellent lesson
You lost me at the very end when you mentioned external rotation of the shoulder. I searched the internet and this is actually a rotation of the upper arm that causes the forearm to move away from the center of the body and the elbow slightly forward. I am familiar with this external rotation of the upper arm and it sets you up for internal rotation on the forward swing which is the major source of speed in tennis, baseball, throwing etc. The question is the slight forward then back action of the elbow ok, fought or encouraged.

Very cool! In the future, could you feature a camera angle that aims directly at your right forearm and elbow? This would provide a useful demonstration of the grip handle's position over the chest.
