Great video, Cindy, thank-you. If one is relatively new at this short game science, I would think it best to pick one wedge for pitching and work on the other variables (ball position, clock settings, and grip position). Different clubs early on in this process would be too many variables for me. I would definitely need a notebook.
An excellent method! Thanks Cindy.
I do like the clock concept for regulating pitching distances but since I tend to be too handsy my golf coach taught me a pitching technique where I cup the left wrist and open the face a bit and use body rotation and no wrist release and it has helped me be much more consistent. Your thoughts?
BTW, my coach here in Oregon, Chad Fribley, qualified for the 2026 US Senior Open...Go Chad!
Good Ideas! Basically if you want to win you have to work harder than the other guy.
Hi Cindy, Is there a formula for how far a ball will run in relation to how far it flies in the air? Like a fly/run ration. This was a great chip. Thanks
Should I be taking divots with my hybrid irons?
Should, in general, I be lower on the club with my grip if I don’t want it to fly as far at higher up for longer shots?
