Hi there,
I really tried to understand what was happening here and could not for the life of me understand what this alignment stick drill is supposed to teach us?
Are we trying to to tell ourselves not to push back on the alignment stick to help our approach. If it is trying to tell us where our hips are supposed to be throughout the swing, I still do not get it. This seems like a complex exercise and probably for elite players?
Could you possibly help me understand this using a simpler approach/drill. Also I do not understand the extension part of this either. Thanks
