Matt Collis
Do you grip the club tighter when you want to hit a long drive? Matt Collis explains why that is all wrong! Try these pinky-less swings to release the club better and add more speed the proper way.

Daily Video Tips

Does the same tip apply to hitting your irons?
I presume that the full finger grip is used when you actually take the shot?
How come when you actually made the swing you moved your left hand down the club so your pinky was back onto the grip??? Not a good video I'm afraid.
He mentioned, you take your pinky off only for the practice swings.
Very interesting idea regarding the pinky finger.
I usually grip tight then address. I am not sure if this makes me actually pull/draw left almost 90% of the time.
Just tried it and makes sense! Thanks
Do you hit with 3 fingers or just practice - what do commentators mean when they say it is a 3 finger hit?
Great drill
Excellent tip how getting the shoulder turn in correct position on back swing. 😎
