Even though I do try to align myself with a distant and an intermediate target I find it difficult to combine your advice regarding the magic move with a straight shot. I would appreciate your insight.
Does distance target approach also work on approach shots? When I try to hit the center of a green, do I focus on that spot or pick a distance target beyond the center of green (to eliminate any anxiety of making the shot at the target)?
