Eric, I have difficulty on making consistent takeaways. I try rocking shoulders but wrists occasionally break and my hits are not dead in the middle. Any drills for consistent takeaways to get the putter on line? Thanks John

G'day Eric, The tip I picked some time ago has similar elements. The tip suggests pick a level hole start about 12 feet out and swing the club head from your toe to toe. This then gives an idea of the pace of the green.
How do you handle the 50 footer? It just seems as though I'll need to take it back too far to avoid hitting "harder."
One thing that hurts my tempo is getting quick from the top. Any suggestions or drills to get this bad habit out of my game?
