Good thought for a putt that needs to go through the fringe.
I really like your tips, John. For those of us who are not good with wedges around the green, could you still use a putter in deeper green grass or would you recommend a wedge? Thanks.

Thanks for today's video. Is there a "rule of 12" solution as to how hard to hit it? Like for chipping. Judging the distance is so hard from the fringe and its a very common shot for amateurs. i.e. If its a 15 ft putt including a 5 ft fringe against the grain...hit (think) 20'.
