Tony Ruggiero demonstrates a putting drill that only requires a quarter. If you can push the quarter along the ground, your putts will roll better and go in more often.

Can you practice the "Quarter Putting Drill" on carpet at home?
Thanks I'd never heard of this drill before, I'll give it a try.
I don't know about this. When you ground the club behind the ball, the top of the putter face basically is at the center of the ball; so with your method I'm hitting the ball near the top of the club face. Which raises the question, why are putter faces so short? Anyway, I feel I have a better hit (sounds better anyway) when I hover the club just a little off the ground.
The tip is fine, but I think viewers would like to see real time takes as opposed to filming breaks to make every shot in the hole. It's really okay to miss some of the putts during your demonstration.
